I just came across a thread on FB about the vapertek pre-orders of the Russian 91%,as of this past friday(when this was dated) vapertek had been blacklisted by Kebo because of the cheap price they were being sold at.According to the thread there is now a 4-6 week lead time for manufacturing on the product before you all get them. This is how it read to me,i am not sure if that means they are starting all over on the making of all of the VT orders with another 4-6 week lead time added on,confusing to me.But if in fact it reads the way i took it,VT orders are still another 4-6 weeks from being able to ship out?

Here is the message:
I wanted to drop everyone a quick note about the Russian 91%. Yes, we were blacklisted by Kebo due to our incorrect pricing. This, of course, raised some concerns to our customers and we have been inundated with emails regarding the shipment of this product. We had the opportunity to speak with Kebo today extensively and we have agreed to no longer sell the any Russian products below their suggested retail price. Our conversations were actually great and I see us doing business with Kebo for a lot of our products. The bottom line is not every product we can sell cheap! It is much easier for us to comply with some manufacturers who deliver top quality products. There is apparently a demand for higher quality atomizers. Now! The number one question that customers ask. How long before they ship? We have been told that the lead time will be 4-6 weeks to manufacture the product. Kebo will do there best to get them out faster but we must advise the 4-6 week lead time. I know that is a long wait but we are waiting for a top notch atomizer that takes time to manufacture. In final, since our conversation with Kebo today we will receive the orders already placed. From this day forward we will comply with the pricing that is suggested by Kebo and we will not deviate from that to keep our relationship with Kebo and their associates whole. We do not want to get a bad name in the community or a bad name with manufacturers!!

Looks like going forward the Russian 91% will be no less than 92.50$

That sounds like old news to me. VaporTek raised their price on the R91 quite some time ago. 4-6 weeks from then would mean the order is already on its way to the western hemisphere. Which it well could be. VaporTek's most recent update estimated shipment from Kebo by this Monday. So far, there's been no indication one way or the other whether that goal was met. Until I see another status update on the VaporTek website, I'm going to expect my order to arrive some time this month. That's not to say I'll be upset if it doesn't arrive until November, though. Que sera, sera, and .....ing and moaning ain't going to change a thing.

My R91 seems to only have one alternate hole for the cole on the side of the negative, not on the positive. Seems to be the case on the pics I've seen online. Anyone else? It did however come with two headless screws......

Oh crap. Have I been waiting months for a somewhat expensive device with the QC of a $13 device? I don't recall seeing Chinese companies improve QC once they have a hot item to sell. Quite the opposite, in fact.

I do not have a good feeling from my first pre-order.

I am not sure if this is the old one or not?? It was posted with this past fridays date on the FB page??

EDIT: This is only for the people that had paid the cheap $60ish price tag so maybe this is the old post??There are still alot of people out there waiting that paid $60ish though??

I went back to there FB page and found a thread dated just 16 hours ago saying they are waiting in there que line for delivery and it did not come before the chinese holiday so Rojo, you might be right about this being old news.

I will never buy anything from a source that tells the retailer what they must do in their own business.

I almost bought into a golf store franchise once. Same thing. Callaway, Ping etc they all told the store owner exactly what to sell their products for. When & if you had a sale it would only be when they told you to and again they controlled the pricing. If I am an independent business where does anyone else get off controlling me and what I do with the product I have bought and paid for? I did not open that store.

Kebo can keep any and all products they make / distribute. I will buy and use ViVi Novas or even go back to cartos before I will support KeBOOOOO!!!!!!!

I totally agree and understand that but the MSRP is another one of those long drawn out pains in the a@# to discuss.Seriously,if i owned my own store,i would not let any vendor tell me what to charge either.I would tell them to take a long walk and buy from a competitor.

Anyone else that has a unit able to speak to this? To repeat I have two screw mount holes and only one side mount hole on the positive. Seems to be consistent with photos I've seen but not the k lite of course.

Thanks

I don't have a R-91, but on my 'full' R those side holes are there in each post (though I'd never use them).

Thanks gents. I saw at least three units including my own at the shop and they all had the same issue. Of course at that time I had no idea what the holes were for so I didn't say anything. And Qorax I think I see where you're coming from I'm not sure using them would do much other than create longer legs

You could set your coil along that edge using the holes not sure if i would do that. The first thing that comes to mind running it that way is gurgle city.
