All the whining about this atomizer is what bothers me. If you payed full price and are still waiting, whine on. If not deal with your wait like an adult. We all know the deal with pre-orders/group buys.

i found mine on ebay new for $94 and free shipping. it was here in 4 days....

I lucked out and got the Russian 100% from Salt lake vapors, when they still had them, for $95. Had it in 2 days. Really like it. Using a vertical mounted micro coil with external wick wrap that Cyrus helped out with, over on the Dragon build thread. Have a couple Rocket clones too, not near the build of the Russian, but after some minor modification, have it vapping nearly as well as the Russian. Was thinking of getting the Kyfun lite, since it was only $10 more than the 91%, but ordered a Terminator-C instead. Trying to branch out on my rba's but sticking with the bottom feeder style for now. Can't believe how fast I can vape 4ml of juice now. lmao.

There are a few ehpro 3.1s at $60 available on ebay as well. Ehpros are SS... while the Rockets are chromed copper.

And then there are a few flippers that want $200 for a real SvoeMesto Kayfun. :glare:[/Q

If anyone is interested I've been on the waiting list and Vape Revolution sent me an email that the Kayfun Lite is in back in stock for $110. I just received a Russian 91% and it's great. I also ordered a Kayfun Lite.

I've got a few questions. Is it as good as the original? What vendors have it? Does the color match with the Roller ice matte(or anything with a similar color like the Richman RBA)? It seems like it's easier to find the Kayfun lite. I just really want the Russian because I like the color.

I gather that the finish on these is like paint, and comes off easily with a Scotch Brite pad or similar. I get the impression that the finish isn't terribly durable, but I could be mistaken. If you want something with a matte finish a little more resistant to scratches, the Kayfun 3.1 Beta would be a good choice. Or consider getting Justin from Vape n Shine to refinish either the r91 or kfl, whichever you prefer, if you aren't comfortable refinishing yourself. When deciding between the kfl and r91, adjustable draw, whistle, and 1-piece vs. 2-piece center post screw seem to be more relevant factors to consider than the finish.

But yeah, the r91 will probably be a pretty good match to the vanilla ice roller or whatever, at least for a little while.

Again, I could be mistaken, and I hope to be corrected if I am. I'm still waiting on my pre-order.

The finish on the 91% seems like it was paint but its so thin if it is. It may be a very fine shot peen. Either way, it came off in about 5 minutes of using a medium scotchbrite pad.

Finish aside, having adjustable draw and over all performance makes this thing well worth it.

I really don't get any more of a whistle than my other rbas and rdas I really wouldn't even call it a whistle.

You could always have a good matte clear coat put on it.

trying some will edit again in a few..

meh, marginally better. i rounded the sharp edge on the air intake. it helped some but not enough to say try it.

i think we are going to have to live with the noise. its bound to happen when you have air rushing through a tiny little hole, partially blocked by a set screw...

Even with the screw wide open, the noise is more intrusive than the KFL. I think it may be a characteristic of the internal shape of the airflow as it seems to come in at a 90 degree angle, then turn at the screw (unlike the KFL which has a straight path until it turns up into the base). What's interesting to me is that the full kayfun has a similar design to the R91. I don't have a kayfun (only the lite) so don't know what noise that makes.

91%'s arrived. Mine is washed, assembled, wicked & coiled.

Like my Rocket, I left the airflow-screw in the bag - Very nice. I find the screws/posts to fix the wire to be a challenge, but it's working very well: Bottom Coil Forever.

Also got a tracking number for my naughtyfun - huzzah!
