Pardon my ignorance but I've been off the scene for a little. Can someone update me? I realize that there are clones of the kayfun lite plus but where can I order a good clone in the USA?

I find that lower voltages gives me more flavor. I'm actually down to about 3.3-3.6V with the KFL+. I'm vaping 70%/30% PG/VG juice. My microcoil is at 1.3 Ohms too.
There is also a chimney build that apparently helps with the flavor. I haven't personally tried this, but its on my list.
Also what Jellyfish said is correct for me too. Too much air, generally mutes flavor.

Hello all. I am looking into getting a Kayfun style RBA. So far I have only came across the tobeco clone of the russian 91%. I have been reading that others are having problems with a whistle from the tobeco and the KFL + . This is something that would drive me bonkers so has anyone had this flippin whistle from the russian? If not then I just have to find one lol. I am going to be using it on a freighttrain epipe so the leaking of the KFL (not plus) aint gonna work. Dont want to mess up a $300 pipe lol.
The whistling I get from my 91% is sans airflow screw, and it's no more than cute - very low-level. Don't worry about it.
i have a real KFL and a 91% and neither one whistle? got 2 tobeco' coming, hope i don't have to mod the crap outta them!
I get a whistling sound in my KFL+ and it's rather annoying, I bought 2 of them and 1 whistles and 1 doesn't.. -_-
My 91% should be delivered tomorrow, wick question as I am thinking of doing the vertical coil and cotton build. I DIY my juice and run 85%VG. Should I take the approach of less is more when using the cotton to prevent dry hits? Don't have any pics(stupid job), but have burned through 2 different wicks on my AGA t3 with cotton. Not sure if I am using too much and choking off the juice flow....

I've used a verticoil and cotton in all my kayfun-likes, including the 91%. The latter is now sporting the XC116 build, and I've mounted both butchers-twine and silica butterflys in both Ithafuns.

Cotton works - until it decides to flare up and you can't see it burning. Useful for experiments, but I am looking for "taste & trouble free".

From reading hundreds of post the last month most say that less cotton is definitely more in the Kayfun's. I do not have one yet myself this is just what I have observed in multiple threads in different forums.
Yea was having a issue last night, and it was the fact that I was using too much cotton. It needs to be just right, but when it is it's great.
With the weather here in Dallas, not sure if UPS will have it to me today. I will be so sad if I have to wait till monday. Fingers crossed
You know, with as many people .....ing and moaning about the wait time and talking about cancelling their orders, I'm surprised VaporTek USA doesn't have any cancelled R91s on their site. Might be worth contacting them and asking? Maybe they just haven't gotten around to listing them yet.
I'm waiting on mine from VaporDNA. They are telling me it will ship by the end of next week.
they had a waiting list and i believe they are already gone......people who didn't bail (like me ) were given the chance to buy from anyone who cancelled..... bet they regret it now....the best vape i've ever had.......
I have been using the vertical coil build for a week or two. Vapes great but keeps flooding and leaking out the airhole... I even switched o rings for the chimney and same outcome.
Does anyone know what new improvements are going to be on the Russian 91% v2?? does the original russian 91% have an o-ring on the bottom fill port screw like how the new kayfun lite + do? I remember with the original kayfun lite my atomizer would leak a little from the screw, does anyone experience slight leakage from the fill port screw on the bottom of the atomizer with the russian 91%?
