Perhaps more time for the flavor to develop in the vapor while it travels? Meh idk, I can't speak from experience. Perhaps it's time for me to aquait myself.If I close my eyes and vape Mai Tai on the Vector. I swear I'm having a party, and a lovely geisha girl is giving me a massage.Plenty of flavor.

It could also be that its cooling the vapor faster. I have less coil gunking compared to side and especially upper airflow. I have no idea, but it tastes very nice.
It's kind of a unique draw but it also feels really no different than any other with comparable airflow. The biggest benefit I can see to it is that you can build your coils up higher, adding to the depth of the juice well and it being very leak-resistant. Flavor is really good and it's up there with some good ones. On The Vector though, whatever you do just don't blow on you coils while you hit the fire button. I did that accidentally and got a face full of hot vapor! Yowza!!!!!!! Those airflow holes should not be exposed like that. One flaw. No single coil airflow option (silly to me) becasue it would be easy to just add another set of holes. Another flaw. Proprietry drip cap. Not a flaw, but I kinda hate RDAs with that.
Anyone want to show their Stumpy builds? I was rocking a dual-vertical coil for a few days and it was really good! But it's so easy to build on this thing I can't help but tear down mine and try something new. They're all really good and what's ultimately the coolest part is that they vape differently.

Got a .3 ohm dualy build with mad rabbit wire in my Stumpy....amazing. I built it on site in the shop and havent put it down
But, but...all I wanted to see was some Stumpy builds.
Agreed! Been rocking this one for a week or so. 6 wrap of 24g on a 3mm bit. A little more vapor than a single Clapton coil and vapor about the same. I find two open air holes per side does me the best

Got 20% off on Elements website for 2 stumpys.... $180 less 20% using EM4TH as a code. Bought a couple copper 510s as well. These attys are easier to squonk than the Vector. Drill one hole insert drilled pin. Done.
Does this leak out of the airholes at all like the derringer? What I really want is a small form factor RDA with dual pots and top airflow. Create something like and you would have the best

I haven't had hardly any leaking becasue the well is quite deep and the airholes are up a little higher.
Modded my Stumpy for BF. I modded a Fat Daddy 510 squonk pin and drilled the positive post with a 1/16th then reamed it a little wider. The 24g build is a .5 so using a taller drip tip. Great warm voluminous vape. This little Stumpy is a beast. Easily can over squonk it so have to be mindful. Here are some pics.
Vaping this build with one airhole diagonally pointed to the underside of the coil on each side. The wick and the posts are not impeding the airflow. The flavor is really good.

Complete with pics copied straight off Element Mods web site, lol. I guess that's pretty standard practice though. 3FV did the same thing with the REO clone.
