well this is something i built today using a 3"AA" battery box and an rca plug and some solder

as you can see it has no buttons, just a switch, and it is running 3 AA batteries.

Don`t know what it was but had a heck of a time getting those pictures to load. Tried 3 times to finally get them.

well i dont know yet but im using some old NiMH batteries that have a little memory problem so im going to get some regular alkalines and test it out. My rechargables are 1.2v and 2500 mAh.

UPDATE: Ive been using alkalines all day and the performance could be dropping a little bit. Plus Ive been vapinng HEAVY to see how long they would last.

today the batts are stil working but a little "shoddy" compared to yesterday. not much smoke

well it was still a decent vape just not what i was looking for. still working today but i kinda let off of it last night. As soon as i get a new soldering iron im going to put a battery connector in it. the RCA plug is a pain but i think its mainly because of the fact that it is a SOLID band and not one with the "leaf" things

What kind of atty did you use ? Factory or did you mod it ?
I made a three AA mod awhile back using those 2200 recharges they kept me vapin all day I used a molded 901 atty had 1.9 ohm rating on it with 30gauge Nic wire . http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/81113-aa-mod-atty-mod.html

It was a SLB 510 atty. I didnt make it.

Also I am realizing how unoriginal this mod is didnt see anything like it before though so I guess I'm in the clear.

Added tact switch and LED still using 3 AAs but its all in the little compartment at the top. vapes like a charm Ill post some pics soon

made one of these a few weeks ago..bad idea no button, on off went on in my pocket ruined my cart and atty.. on off is good safety feature when a momentary button is installed but not so good without one...but at least you can get regular old batts n run 3 1.5v for 4.5 v...

If you are using Nimh, you need to use 4. You will not believe the amount of vapor you will get from a 901 with 4 Nimh batteries. That's what my Puck mod is all about and it works flawlessly. 4.8 volts plus a 901 atomizer = about 7 watts power which is very sweet for vapor and flavor.

I use AAA and get +/- 24 hours of battery life.

Make sure you use a 901 atty. You won't get the same results with a 510.
