DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!
Ok yall, it's been a week that I have been vaping. I bought the mini from Puresmoker. At first I was having problems, seemed like not much vapor emitted etc, but for some reason, it's resolved itself. Maybe the atomizer needed to get broke in? I don't know. I have REALLY cut down on my use of analog ciggies.
I love the fact that I can "vape" inside my house (I never smoke inside my house), and this is nice when it's cold or rainy outside. I love the fact that it doesn't smell. I love the taste (oh the coca cola cash juice!!).
But the things I wish I had known......for me, a heavy smoker, constantly puffing away, I should have gotten the penstyle.
With the mini, I am changing out batteries every 4 hours (i only have 2 batteries, and can't wait for a full 8-12 hour charge), and am topping off carts probably every 5-10 minutes (with 2-3 drops). My sister says that her NJOY penstyle holds a charge for much longer and the carts can accomodate 10 drops or so. She has the mini also, so she has been able to compare.
Therefore, I am going to order the NJOY penstyle (she is so happy with it, i dont want to take a chance and order a penstyle from anywhere else), and will order empty carts and e-juice from PURESMOKER for sure.
I also wish I had known how much I would enjoy vaping, and would have ordered more juices and carts to save money on shipping, with my initial order.
What are the things that you wish you had known?

before i place an order with NJOY, i would welcome anyone to share their opinion of the penstyles by NJOY vs. PURESMOKER...
also, i just saw ecigarettesales site, where the Jane's Kick Juice is sold in some good flavors. those penstyles are very inexpensive, but regardless of how much i search the forums here, i cant find much anything regarding reviews of their product (the ecigs). has anyone bought them? or do they just order the kick juice from that site??? a mystery....
will wait till tomorrow for replies and then make a decision

I wish I had discovered this board before I decided to waste my money on a Gamucci !!

it wouldnt have made much difference a few months back pete.. the board would have had u wasting your money on a sedansa or njoy... he he

gamucci is 10% the price of the (rebranded generic) e cig and 90% the price of the sales promotion.. but it has made lots of people aware of e cigs.. it did me even tho i wasnt daft enough to buy one..

but if u take a 10 dollar product spend 90 dollars telling the world how wonderfull it is and sell it for 150 dollars u make loads of money..

if u take the same 10 dollar product spend 10 dollars on promotion and sell it for 30 dollars u make no money..

trog

ps... most e cigs are ten dollar products no matter what the customer ends up paying for them..

I know nothing about the NJOY but I have used puresmokers and Jane's. Jane's was great for about a week and then draw got really hard and nothing has changed since. Puresmokers lasted me much longer about a month and a half before the draw got really hard. I have no idea how to resolve the draw problem so they are now pretty much sitting here gathering dust.

Tumble, I had the same issue with my pen from Puresmoker. I steamed it a bit, swished it around for a few seconds in some boiling water, blew it out good and let it drain and dry. It has worked beautifully ever since and has been about 6 weeks now. I still love my mini but my pen is quickly becoming my favorite. It's a bit heaver and longer but it gives me much better vapor, especially when I'm dripping it.

I also wish I had known how much I would enjoy vaping, and I would have ordered more juice FLAVORS!! yum!!

I did do my research, spent a lot of time here reading before ordering... I got the pen style kit from puresmoker, along with an extra battery & atomizer, extra carts, extra juice... and I still want more... more...

More juice, more gadgets... I want it all!!

Uh, well, except for the dang auto clean on the batteries. sigh.

Would like to have known ecigs are in no way designed for heavy smokers. Fortunately I found this forum before I ordered, so I knew they were disposable(do any companies clearly state that their products need to be replaced often? Njoy doesn't even sell loose atomizers, ha wtf?) but I thought they'd last 2-4 weeks.

Seems most people on the forum aren't/weren't heavy smokers, cause I have only been vaping for 2 weeks-one dead atomizer(not dead, but useless to me), 2 of my batteries have noticeably declined already. I do not think I had faulty product, and I took very good care of these things.

There is no going back to cigarettes though, which Im excited about. No regrets on some of the money I have wasted, haha, just an initial cost/research investment. Once I find what I like, and get a solid routine down, I'll be happier.

I have both penstyle and 901 from puresmoker. I have been using the penstyle for two weeks and the 901 for a little over a day. I am still not sure which one a like more because I like the 901 is lighter and I can hold it easier but the battery last less time and I have to top off the cartridge more frequently, like you said every 5-10 minutes. I actually thought it was that I wasn’t vaping the 901 properly but now that you mention how frequent you have to add more liquid I’d say it’s just the model.
As far as vapor I don’t see much difference between the two but I do think the penstyle is more consistent but maybe my 901 needs to brake in.
I don’t know about NJOY but if you like the 901 from puresmoker you probably would like the penstyle from him as well.

I just wish I'd heard about them earlier.

I had just come back from a trip to Kenya absolutely LOADED with Duty Frees :D

If I hadn't bought the Duty Frees, I'd probably be a non-smoker by now, but they are just too tempting. Having said that, I'm only smoking about a quarter of what I usually smoke so I'm heading towards total e-cig conversion in the New Year.

well i thought NJOY had a guarantee, and would replace? have you tried that?
since you say you are trying to find what you like, what is the next one you are going to try out?

My first was Njoy, because a friend had one and I decided to try it. Before that I had the non-electronic Aeros. Those worked great for when I couldn't smoke, but did not satisfy my habit (iow, I continued to smoke). I have different brands on the way (epuffer, puresmoker). I got 2 starter kits, pen style from Njoy, and the first I bought crapped out very quickly. Tried the NPRO (purchased from Target) that went almost immediately. Luckily I was able to return that to the store for a full refund.

Good news, I did quit smoking with Njoy, I haven't had a cig for about a month. And I have no desire for regular cigs either (amazing after 32 years of smoking). The bad news is how much I spent on the Njoy and I expected it to last longer (much longer). My second is still working so that is something. Wish I would have found this forum sooner. I am very happy that there is such a thing as e-smoking, and even though I am spending looking for my best product, certainly it is a saving in the end to be smoke free.

Thanks to all here, I have spent quite some time reading and learning!

if you have never tried a pen before i would almost certainly get a generic first.
The only branded pen type i would think of buying would be the Janty , but thats just for the manual switch.

but my experiences with the generic pens are all good . I couldn't justify the cost of an Njoy over a generic.

If puresmoker does the black RN4072 i would go for that over the white version. I don't know why but mine outperforms the white ones, seems to be the case with a few others as well.

Go generic first..then if you really feel the need and want that warranty go branded. But i bet you'll be more than happy with the generic pen. your just paying for the guarentee with njoy i reckon, never had one so wouldn't like to compare performance wise. My black generic outperforms with taste and volumes every other device i have and that includes the screwdriver, 901,bling and super-mini.

what is this "bling" i keep hearing people refer to?
and what is an RN4072? who makes it? what type of ecig?
