Don't know if more information would have made a difference, each purchase I have made taught me more about how to draw properly, what juices suited me, how much power / wattage made me happy, was atty - carto - dripping right for me, what shapes and button placement I liked, how to maintain my PV for optimum vapor. A little experience has been a great teacher.

I totally agree with this statement. Well said, Stosh! I do wish I had known about this forum before ordering my first kit, but I don't really regret that first order since it is what eventually led me here.

Wish I would have known...
1. about this forum first (although I thought my research was thorough, I got lucky and got a 510 and didn't pay too much for it)
1a. that looking at the different sites selling hardware and their prices only counts as researching price
2. that having one the same size of an analog is NOT important
3. that one-stop-shopping isn't necessarily the best idea. ecig/juice vendors have inexpensive shipping, so I would have gotten the hardware I wanted and then ordered my juice from a vendor with a good rep for having excellent juices
4. which juices I would like since I seem to have a collection of stuff I can't stand. But I think this would require some kind crystal ball or magic 8 ball that could actually see the future.
5. (as others have said) how much I would enjoy it

cool thread, honestly I wish I would have not known a lot of the things I know now, cause I was broke, lol. This can be an expensive "hobby" if you make it one. I am glad I started with Smoke Tip. It got me off the cigs. If I could think of anything I wish I would have known, it would be how nasty most prefilled cartomisers are, and known just to buy empty's and fill them with a delicious juice. I get all my juice from V4L cause they freakin rock. Want to get a vapor king, but I'm fine with my smoke tip. It draws fine, and produces clouds of vapor with a little help from VG.

1) I wish I knew about this forum instead of reading fake ecig reviews sites that point to the highest commission ripoff sites.

2) Not to over order hardware supplies because tastes and eventually PV needs can change.

3) Don't believe every ejuice review - peoples tastes are very, very subjective. Order small sample sizes first.

4) Use Forum Suppliers or highly recommended ones here for outstanding service and fast delivery.

5) Never order the latest and greatest hyped new product unless you have funds to burn and like to tinker. Wait a month for the reviews to become real.

6) Used to think smokers were the nicest people, now I think it's the vapers. :vapor::vapor::vapor:

#1 This forum

#2 anyone that says one of these cartridges is = to a pack of cigarettes is lying get off that website immediately

#3 The more it looks like a cigarette, the less functional it is.

#4 You are not going to start off saving money by vaping... maybe 3 or 4 months down the road if you can keep yourself in check... but you are not going to start off saving money

Fortunately I found this forum 24 hours after making my order for a cigarette looking device and had time to cancel that order.

This!

I lucked out in that my first buy was an 808 from one of those mall kiosk jobs. Their flavors were lame though, and with a little searching ended up at V4L. So I must say that the 1 thing I wish i had known more than anything was that I was going to have so many leftover 808 carts after I switched over to the ego.

Shouldn't have bought a POS ecig at a tobacco shop. I'll have to try to sell it now to some poor sucker and then they'll have to sell it to some poor sucker. The units I have now are outstanding for half the price.

Don't do that, harry. You could likely put someone off ecigs all together. Chauk it up to experience, and scrap it for spare parts.

1. I wish I knew not to be so intimidated by forums (as I've said before, I'm obviously not now!), because I've learned so much in such a short time.

2. I also wish I knew about doing this earlier before my two failed attempts with patches.

3. Another thing! I wish I was smart enough not to be intimidated by buying from smaller companies, I could've saved myself a lot of hassle!

I wish I'd known that most of the money Blu takes in goes to marketing and not into a quality product.
I wish I'd known how easy a box mod is to make, and how well they work with cartos.
I wish I'd known about Mad Vapes and the other quality distributors on this site.
I wish I'd known how much I'd enjoy vaping menthol, even though I wasn't a menthol smoker.
I wish I'd known how easy everything really is.

I WISH I'D KNOWN ABOUT THIS FORUM!!!!!!!

I wish I would have known about how many different e cigs there are. And I wish I would have known about how well 5 volt mods smoke and how easy they hit. There is quite a learning curve to all this stuff, I've been into it for two months and I'm still learning new stuff everyday, and I read this forum every day and night. It's a whole lot of info to take in. The one thing that I did not do is that I did not go thru lots of different e cigs and mods. I went straight to the GLV2 5v. Actually I ordered the Greensmoke just because of its return policy. I knew T\that I would end up sending it back. I just wanted to find out what vaping was alll about. It was my experimental device. It served it's purpose, I got a taste of vaping, and then sent it back knowing that a more substancial e cig would help me quit ciggys. I have to give Greensmoke credit, there return policy is on the up and up, total refund, no restocking fees and no charges for the cartridges that I used whi[e it was in my possesssion. There were no hassles at all and it was timely.
