Oh, i agree about etiquette. You are entirely correct on that.

But failing to use forum etiquette doesn't make somebody a troll. If that were true, over 3/4 of the forum at one time or another, including myself, would have to wear that label and sit with a dunce cap on in the corner for the day. ;)

You seem to think that your chocolate pudding smells better than mine, which is fine, but the fact is that you posted off topic in this thread more than just once or twice, but you do not seem to think that the "rules" apply to you or plenty of other people that posted off topic in this thread.

;)

Ahem, it smells AWESOME! Uhh, I have the, uhh, caps off and I am, uhh, letting it steep? Yeah! That's the ticket, I am letting it steep. LOL

Dan, it's not about off-topic posts per se that gets to be nerve racking, it's keeping it going for what seems to be no end. Look, Vapormizer and I are two fans of Tobacco Absolute where as not too many other NET vapers are or even care to find out. We talked about it and decided to start a thread about it. I was free one night so I started the thread. See, TA is for all intents and purposes an NET, but it just felt like it was off-topic in the NET thread. It's cool to talk about off-topic stuff if most are on the same page or if it's not belabored; but when frequent posters of a thread have tried and tried to help, but to no avail, and the off-topic issue continues, it would seem that it only persists for the amusement of the OOTP (original off-topic poster). And that ain't cool.

Your post #321 was when this started, but we are now on #466. For a happy-go-lucky thread like this, would you say that is bit excessive for it to still be taking up posts? I didn't even want to add to it, but I see it's not stopping. And that's what a you-know-what accomplishes. I am not saying you are one, but that's how it manifests itself.

Look, I have no desire most of the time to talk about equipment, e.g., coils, wicks, RBAs, genesis attys, ViVIs or that stuff, but it matters to many of the posters of NETs. Equipment matters to this stuff. Plus, if your equipment sucks, so will your vape. It should be important to the topic, though it may appear to be off-topic. Hell, joke-type posts come and go, but this isn't going to turn into a youtube video posting thread for over 145 entries! See?

Lastly, this post, the one I am typing, is further evidence that the topic is still about you, not about the issue of you being unable to get your happy vape (though in your mind it may feel that way). You're fine with me, and I would love to talk more, but why not just start your own thread already? I am sure someone will post in it.

Mr.Mann, I got it. I will not post here again. And I am sorry for not getting it earlier. I thought since the voting is closed and OP did not seem to mind, it was cool to talk about it, but clearly it bothers some people. Sorry about it.

Don't fold here, just open up there. I was not joking when I said I would love to talk more about your search/hunt. Can I get the link to your thread? ;) Take it from me, starting topics is AWESOME; and you, sir, clearly have a topic that needs it's own home. Can I come over? I promise I'll behave. LOL.

And MrMann wont be the only one over there. I am certain that a good number of others will as well. As I mentioned before, don't underestimate the community.

If you build it, they will come.

Hey guys, I posted this in the Cartomizer Issues forum, but no one was able to help me. Thought I might try here.

So I've recently went from clearomizers to pre-punched Smok 2.0 carto's and tank for a month or so. My first juice in a carto was from Heather's Heavenly Vapes (a bunch of different one's, they were on the sweet side), and everything went smoothly. I was amazed at the flavor and satisfied with the vape. I told myself that I would never go to back to clearomizers. But then, something strange started happening...

I ordered some NET juice's from GoodeJuice and QuickNic, judging by the "NETty Awards" forum. I picked out mostly unsweet analog and pipe tasting juices. And for some reason, all of these flavors are fine at first, but after about 10-20 puffs start tasting weird. It's hard to describe, but it becomes chemically/soapish in taste. I'm guessing I'm burning the bottom of the carto.

Now, at first I thought I didn't prime the carto good enough, so I filled up the last one, let it stand to make sure the juice got all the way to the bottom. Same thing, wonderful taste in the beginning, which turns to become the same tasting after about 20 puffs.
These aren't that VG-rich, mostly 30%, some 50% VG juices. What the heck is going on??? It's as if all of the juices become the same horrible taste after a couple puffs!

I vape these at around 3.8-4.0, the carto's are 2.0ohm 2-hole-pre-punched single coil Smoktech's on a Spinner. I've always used them. HHV was good in them, GoodeJuice and QuickNic don't work for some reason.

Another thing I noticed, is that once the taste goes bad, the carto still makes a noise past the time I let go of the ON button. So it burns past the time I shut it off by about a second or two.

Someone please tell me they had this issue in the past, what the heck is going on?!

UPDATE: Ordered some Ikenvape Punch! Platinum LR cartos, and the pre-punched holes on those are HUGE! Alas, the QuickNic Proudest Monkey I filled it up with vapes fine, but usually dries out on the top too soon. I tried inhaling faster, but it still seems to dry up quick.

How do you smoke these NET's through carto tank configurations???

Good question. The short answer is, well, I don't anymore. I was in the process of migrating away from them since the fill of the cart started to become unpredictable when I used different juices at about the same time that I sampled a couple hundred juices to find the NETs I like :)

I moved from carto tanks to VapeOnly BCCs. Most of the BCCs (bottom coil clearomizer) work really well with NETs.

Form there, I moved to bottom coil rebuildables - I have a few dripping rebuildables and a few tank rebuildables. All of which work well.

I know that doesn't answer your question but, I hope it helps.

EDIT - you may also want to post this in the Natural Tobacco thread - while a lot of us stay up on both threads, that one will get seen by more Net-Heads (Netizens ;) ) and I know that folks will have other pointers for you.

EDIT2 - lookey there... you already did. :)

YES YES AND YES

Love

Georgio's biggest fan

:D

Well, I guess it depends how you define "the flavor," but it sounds, um, weird.

That having been said, picture this, Cloris Leachman and Joan Rivers January Jones and Bar Refaeli seating in your room and vaping Padron Serie 1926 #9 Natural Toro. Pure heaven.

Joking aside, have you guys tried HouseOfLiquid's juices (El Toro, etc) and Kick Ash? Any likes or dislikes?

Dan, going by my own discrete, personal experience, I think you will find the Puros Naturale disappointing. I don't get the applause for this juice at all. I have the Naturale and I get almost no flavour. I get nothing from it. Just PG with the slightest bit of flavour. Eden is slightly better but only because I can actually taste apple in it. It doesn't compare, in my opinion, to the robust tobacco flavours of vendors like Goodejuice, Want2Vape or Mountain Oak Vapor.

*Scratches head*

The Virginia Prime is good though. I will make this disclaimer though. I ordered the Puros and Eden in it's no nicotine form here in Australia from an Australian vendor. That is because it is illegal for Australian vendors to sell nicotine based liquids. It's possible that when the liquids were designed for the Australian commercial market, they were altered greatly due to the nicotine extraction (or elimination) process. However, the Virginia came from an American based vendor with nicotine and I do like that particular one.

Based on your opinions on most NETs, I doubt Puros is going to be any less disappointing for you.

I have a good feeling about these and going to order samples of all four today.

Are you talking about Chivalry, Reserve and Minotaur?

I could be wrong here but the juice tasting acrid and the delayed shut off of the carto is a classic symptom of too much heat and not enough liquid consuming that heat. There are dry spots in your filler material. This can only indicate the juice is not spreading into the carto and is therefore too thick.

I would never use Goodejuices in cartos. They are definitely thicker and if I am not wrong the NET juices are all around 50/50 PG/VG. A true NET can't be altered (correct me if I am wrong) in PG/VG ratio and due to the maceration process turn out to be about 50/50 or 55/45. In that case, they are not suitable for your carts and you are getting 'hot spots' in your carto.

I am not sure how Heathers get their 80/20 70/30 ratios in their 'purity' line unless they naturally extract their tobaccos and then go and add pure PG in them. That might explain why their juices are lower in tobacco impact.

I am half guessing here and haven't researched my facts for the purposes of this post because it's late and I just don't have time, but I am pretty sure GEJ juices are too thick for cartos.

Ever since I purchased a Vapeonly BCC (both full sized and mini), an evod and a Protank kanga, I have a bunch of obselete cartos in my possession now.

The juice isn't getting into the carto quickly enough. You need bigger holes.

Actually Anthony, when tobacco is extracted by maceration or other techniques, it produces a concentrated extract. Like other flavor concentrates, the juice is then made by adding pg and/or vg, and nicotine, that's why most NET vendors can offer different ratios.

HHV can offer pg-free NETs, because they use ethynol for their extraction method, and the resulting concentrate has no pg in it.
