The Thrill is Gone

I never thought it could happen to me. My V4L orders have become 8-o boring 8-o

I've placed two orders this week, a few bottles of Nuport, some blank wow carts, maybe a couple of packs of prefill flavours. I even ordered some Wowboy juice and tossed in another diamond shorty to jazz things up.

I now have 3 orders in the ether, but the thrill of opening the packages has gone. As long as I get bottles of my precious Nuport and enough blanks to keep me topped up, my needs are met. Seems I have settled down to being a boring vaper.

How do you keep the romance in your vaping life? How do you keep the spark alive? What makes you continue to stalk the delivery person, even after months or years of vaping? Please share your vaping love-life secrets

Here here, I had a tiny bit of hazelnut and a tiny bit of English toffee left, mixed them up and Woot! Going to hafta fly in a couple months, it's cruel that they would deny one nicotine after the lines, the questions, the money spent, the groping and x rays, cramped seating, complementary booze...did you do it during bathroom breaks or under a blanket or balls out?

I have to switch alot along with always having some tobacco and menthol ..that helps me because my tastes are still changing .

Sometimes to get the thrill back in vaping I see how long I can go with out it..2 hours with out vaping I start getting stressed ,like withdrawal symptoms..Then I pick up pv inhale a couple time and can feel the excitement again..

I have never so far been completely bored with vaping and sometimes I switch off to different ejuices..

After eating different foods or snacks The vaping seem to work better,for example after eating vanilla Ice cream and vape a little afterwards I get really relaxed and some times I fall asleep easily, why that is I dont know...This is my way of keeping the excitement in vaping going..

I love getting a "New" colorbatt and then figuring out what flavor would be best with it. Pink of course is peppermint and green is menthol..black is up for grabs as are the slivers and golds.
Try a pack of smapler cartos...my life is weird enough so boring vaping is just fine for me!
just remember the days of smoking the same ol', same ol' year after year!

Nice to see the old-timers gather here for a moment. Katz, I've had the same thought for the past few months, ever since I passed my first year. I have my routine and favorite gear, and I find myself posting and reading less here as fewer topics interest me.

I think it's the natural progression for some of us, and in a way, I like it. The forum's support was so helpful and the experimentation really fun early on, but them days are fading for me. I'm reminded that it's the vaping itself that matters most, after all, although there sure are a lot of fine folks at this forum. I still feel the need to pop by daily.

Well, I wouldn't call myself an old timer, but the things that keep me excited and ordering:
Trying out every juice that looks tasty! In prefilleds first of course.
Buying cartomizers that have the name of the juice I'm putting in them (vanilla cartos for vanilla juice, etc.).
Buying new things to organize all of my ecig gear. I even made labels to stick in my organizer to label which cartos go into which slot. And then I have slots for the empties so I can refill several at one time.
Of course, trying new things I just got my first manual! It is pretty amazing imo.
I hope you get that spark back Katz! Vaping is too fun to become boring!

I do, from time to time, though not in places where smoking isn't permitted. I am not ready to have those arguments yet.

I've actually realised I'm happy with black diamond batteries. With either purple or blue leds. My only variation from there is likely to be trying the regular length instead of shorties. And yes, that is colour co-ordination for me, I am rather monochrome. But hey, at least I wear gray & white and maybe a few bits of colour instead of just black like I used to. And my batts have coloured leds, they aren't stealth!

Stop ordering so much stuff all the time.
The reason why you don't enjoy it is because you never go without. Like you said- you've already placed THREE orders this week. Why WOULD it be exciting if it's nothing new?
Sex is ALWAYS good (and so is vaping) but I find that's it's alot better and more exciting when you don't do it EVERYDAY ALL DAY.
Wait until you find something that really strikes your fancy and THEN place an order.

I am the same way, Katz. My last order arrived yesterday, and until yesterday afternoon I didn't even check the tracking number...not once. And I didn't open the package until a few hours after I got home.

Yes, the thrill is gone, but that said, I'm starting to get to the point where I might actually start to break even financially. Trying to add excitement will only cost me more money, and I can ill afford that. I'm rather pleased that I'm at a point where I'm stocked up for a while, don't have a need to try every new flavor out there, and can sit back and start to consider the savings from vaping over smoking analogs. That excites me enough.
