A little over 2 years ago I ended a 30 year smoking habit, that was up to 2 packs a day, with vaping. I never would have thought this was possible. Now I feel the time has come to step away from the vape. It's been a good run and I have had fun with it but the end is near. I've weaned myself down on the nicotine and can go for hours without a care. I shall be forever grateful to this wonderful way I got off the smokes. Peace.
Congrats an good luck! Should be proud of yourself :)

Thank you to all for the encouraging replies. To answer @BreSha6869 yes. I plan to thin the flock considerably now and then again in the future. I'm not concerned about setbacks, meaning I'm not going to beat myself up if I have a couple of toots here and there. In the interests of full disclosure I've had a couple of cigarettes, maybe 4, over the past few years. While I don't recommend having any I can say with great pride that I didn't enjoy them! We'll see what shakes out.

I've been dual using 3-5 a day since august, you should be so proud.
My 3 year vape journey before August was so freaking hard cos unlike you I enjoy cigarettes!

To be fair this is the strictest vaping site ever! I know of other sites where you can have a laugh & curse.

However this site is definitely the most helpful!

There's a reason for that. There are those against vaping that read this forum. They will try to use things they've read against us.

Yeah, we've actually have seen some of our posts referenced.

We don't want to give them any ammo. We do not want to be taken as wild out of control people that do not understand courtesy and thoughtful responses.

I think that because we do have filters for profanity, it kinda forces us to come up with a better way to get our disdain for certain groups written down.

In other words, we use our minds. :D

We don't allow drug talk because we do not want the forum to come up when a search is done with drug words.

So that's a few reasons why we are so strict. :)

You might need to pick up another hobby. I chain vape all day long at work (work from home). But when I go mountain bike riding, it can be 6-7 hours and I never touch the thing. I bring it with me too, but don't use it. Even when I'm finished and back home or in the truck, it's still quite a while before I hit the vape.

I wish you the best of luck quitting! I've been vaping for over 2 years now, and I have lowered the nicotine, lowered the wattage continually. Just seeing your post, I put the vapes on the other table and sliced up some pickles to snack on. (Get the refrigerated ones.)

I wasn't in any way saying it was a bad thing but some people get offended far too easily...

Congratulations and good luck. Who knows where I'll be a couple years from now. Today I'm where you were 2 years ago. 14 days off a 48 year 1-1/2 to 2 pack a day smoker and way glad to be vaping.

Good on you. 2 weeks in is a huge accomplishment. Hang around this place, drink plenty of water, and enjoy.
