I think calling e-cigs pv's is stupid. Clearly the perception of these things is negative and the evil forces at work will not be convinced by changing the name. To make matters worse calling them vaporizers is dishonest.
What is the difference between a vaporizer and an e-cig?
Vaporizers superheat moist plant matter creating a water vapor. I have used more then one of these godawful things and they suck. You blow out this tiny little wisp of vapor. It's a joke. They are used for marijauna. Using one of these things to replace tobacco cigarettes is a joke it didn't work 10 years ago and it doesn't work now. No one uses actual vaporizers to replace cigarettes and everyone knows it.
Enter the e-cig.
They work in a similar way in that they deliver a vapor. But that's where the similarities end. An ecig uses liquid nicotine suspended in flavored gycol. They create massive clouds of vapor. The taste and feel is very similar to a real cigarette. As an alternative to tobacco these things actually work. And no you can't put marijauna in it.
Call them fog bongs. Call them super tokers. Call them electronic enema machines. It doesn't matter what you call them. A bunch of rich powerful white guys will lose a few dollars if you buy them and that means their days are likely numbered. By calling these things pv's we are only lying to ourselves. Clearly no one else is listening.
