Perhaps I should post this on the modding forum, but since the Gotvapes forum is loaded with CE2 aficionados, I figure this is the best place to post this little trick.
After taking it apart, place a 2nd wick on top of the stock wick. No coils, just wick. Cut the 2nd wick so it is long enough to reach the bottom of the tank.
I rarely get any dry hits from a stock stardust, but I have had problems with flooding when the wick gets some age on it. This returns the Stardust to perfect wicking, and though I've only just tried this, dare I say better than new?
I was getting ready to rewick a couple for my wife that were flooding and giving her almost no vapor with 100% PG juice. This has revived them!
What I think is happening here, is the second wick tightens up the opening so that excess juice can not enter the atty. And having the 2nd wet wick on top insures the entire coil is evenly moist at all times.
Y'all aficionados give it a try.
