Some days are easier than others. Smoked cigarettes for 30yrs..made several attempts to quit and my longest was 2 1/2 yrs. This is my second attempt with e-digs-first was 4 months. Over the last 2 months I have twiddled down and finally went to 0 cigs on Oct 29th. I keep one unopened pack to reduce the anxiety of having no cigs.
So its been just over a week now-today is the 9th days to be exact. Today has been a rough one already. I have been up for 2 hours and the urge has come over me several times. I just grab my mod and vape away. Thanks for listening!!

Well good luck with staying strong. I went through that and what worked was getting a higher nicotine tobacco based liquid. Trust me if you vape some 24mg or 36mg through the day you will be all set with smokes. It's almost too much, you'll feel it but I'm telling you that craving will go away quick. An analog will be the last thing you want.

Maybe keep one 15ml or 30ml bottle of a good tobacco or even pipe tobacco flavor with 24mg or 36mg of nic around. When you get that urge, load that up and fire away. You'll thank me later.

I was a 2pad smoker, ultra lt 100's. Smoked for 20 years. I vaped while smoking and cutting down for about a month(including 3 weeks with blu's) until things 'clicked'. I still had urges for a couple of weeks, i vaped and vaped hard thru them. I was vaping 18mg, and thought about upping to 24 in some of the more 'rough times' but in the end made it thru. Exclusively vaping now for...6 or 7 weeks now. I forget.

It gets easier. Stay strong. Up the nic level if you need to.

Oh, I also carried around an open pack in my car that first week I went tobacco free. In the end, I gave them away and felt better to be 'free' of them.

Good luck!

Oh, take long slow drags. Hold it in your mouth for a second, then inhale slowly(if you lung inhale) and then exhale out your nose. It helps. The longer the vape is inside the body, the more nic you absorb. Nic absorbs slower and lower when vaping compared to the stinkies.

I was a 3 PAD for over 35 years. If I can make a suggestion, throw the unopened pack away. I kept a pack the same way when I started vaping and every time I saw it I knew I could just grab one when I was having the urge. When I threw the Pack away I noticed I did not have the craving anymore. I knew it was just me and my vaping buddy from that day forward. I am now 75 days analog free.

Good Luck and thank you for sharing your story.

Congrats on your switching. I know it's hard. I am a 33yr 1 1/2 pad smoker who decided to try vaping to quit. I weaned off cigs while vaping. It took approx. 2 weeks and that was the last time I smoked. I haven't had a cigarette since Jan. 15, 2013. I had cravings but my pv (personal vaporizer) saw me through. As stated above it is a good idea to vape slow and hold it in and exhale through the nose. Nicotine is absorbed better this way. I wish you the best of luck in you journey and I want you to know you are not alone!

I have days like that. I cut out cigarettes as soon as I got my PV. Usually I am fine, however there are days when I feel like I need a "real" smoke. So I've made a deal with myself. When I want a cigarette, I grab my PV and have a nice long vape first. If I still want a smoke after that, I allow myself to have one without guilt. I used to smoke a pack to a pack and a half a day for 13 years. If I have a cigarette now and again I am still doing better then I was. And funnily enough, I still haven't had a full cigarette since. Last time I lite one up I had 2 puffs and had to put it out. Sure didn't enjoy it like I used to *lol*

Good luck!

That's good stuff I haven't made it down to 12mg I'm still at 18 but went from 36 to 18 and stayed off the smokes.

Wildflowers, buy a 15ml bottle of this with 36mg of nicotine and work your way down. No more smokes.
