Okay, is it just me or is it that every new PV, whether a mini or a mod or whatever the case may be - after a couple months or so it just doesn't seem to WORK the way it used to? Went from a V4L to a VOLT to a Silver Bullet. Still using the same MaxxFusion Bloog cartos that I bought in the summertime. I only have and use the SB now but it just seems like it doesn't hit like it used to - cartos are only worth a damn for a day or two and I do not vape heavily by any means. Just seems like any new device I get is great for about a month before it just seems like it craps out on me. Maybe I'm just getting used to it? I have no idea. It's frustrating though. Anyone else?

If this is the case and you have an acute sense of vapor production, then you should try a mechanical mods. No electronic switches to fail. It will hit all the time as long as you clean the contacts periodically. Also you can drop them in water, let it dry out and vape again. Not like electronic switches that can short out. Here's a list that you can try Alpha, Omega, Prodigy, Icon, Reo Grand/mini Chuck, GG etc. All of them hit consistantly all the time.

I think you may need more power. I bought my first VV mod almost a year ago and I'm still loving it. Being able to raise and lower the voltage depending on your carto / atty and juice really does open up a whole new world of experience.

I completely agree with this statement.

It could also be your SB batteries are weakening. You might also try mixing up on your cartomizers...try different brands and ohm ratings.

All of the above, yet none of the above apply.
Taste buds dull. Vape the same thing long enough and it ends up tasting like chewing on a toothpick.
You can change voltages, change juices, change cartos, anything that allows the taste buds to rest.
The common solution is to be using two or more devices with contrasting flavors of juice.

Only problem with the some of the VV Mods like the provary is that it will not work with the dual coil cartos. Silver Bullet or Omega both are solid Mods ( have SB going 2 years now and the omega ) make sure you have fresh batteries every few months and as others said, change juices. The devices/Mod as long as it fires it will do the same job - the batts are what causing it to work / preform differently .

Cleaning threads & connectors once in a while helps too.

I also felt that way, for the first few months I was vaping I bought nearly every Mod out there searching for that perfect Vape, one that remained constant each time I used it. What I discovered, after buying nearly 60 Mods and numerous cartomizers and many attys and tanks and "special" accessories, Was that ALL devices work on the exact same principal.

So, after 8 months of vaping, I have my favorite devices or Mods, and my favorite juices and carts, but I have also discovered my favorite Batteries, and my favorite WAY to use each of the Mods. For dripping, a good LR 1.5 debridged 510 or 306 atty with an Empire drip shield provides the best results for me as far as flavor and vapor production. This also applies to my most favorite bottom feeder Mod, without the drip shield, The REO Grande.

For Carts, I prefer the smoketech 1.5 ohm clear carts in the dual coil clear case. I dont like the extra large cartomizers that hold 5ml of juice, they just dont give me the vape I prefer.

The trick is to use Good quality batteries, AW IMR 18650s (or any size I need) are among my favorites. The 26650 battery in the Helix cant be beat for days of 3.7V vaping without a recharge on the battery.

Good Batteries, The best atty LR and a great drip shield makes for a perfect experience....if I had discovered this 7 months ago I would probobly only have 5 or 6 Mods instead of 60 and I would not have been searching for that perfect Mod...it aint the Mod...its the set up and battery....trust me on that.
