What's Difference Between the "AVG" and "RMS" Setting??

I ordered some new mods yesterday and I remember that one of them that was reviewed by Phil Busardo has a setting to change between "AVG" and "RMS". Phil stated that in comes set on the "AVG" setting but needs to be changed to the "RMS" setting. Now if could just remember which mod it was I'd be in business. Can anybody help me on this before whichever one it is comes in the mail? Thanks in advance for any help.

Vamo! It's just different ways to average voltage. That's as far as my expertise on that subject goes. Definitely use rms. the other will make the burn.
