When I received my Vape Mate the first thing I did was to install a piece of tubing inside the bottle that allows me to get juice to the Vape Mate without inverting the device. It works great but last night I noticed something very cool! I was watching the air in the tube move as I vaped. This discovery lead to another amazing discovery, it was auto feeding! I have vaped since last night without touching the bottle. If I get a dry taste I simply puff a little harder and automatically pull juice into the atty. I watch as air returns to the bottle in the form of bubbles letting me know juice has been displaced.

Here is my set up ATM: Omega w/ AW P18650, LR 510, Vape Mate w/ 10ml clear bottle w/ tubing inside to reach bottom of bottle. (Oring is in place on the VM on top of the bottle) The tubing is wedged tight inside the dropper cap. I found some in 6' lengths for 2 bucks. Here is the link.. I have a shorty wide mouth T-tip as well.

Now I know this probably has a lot to do with the air flow of this particular atomizer so I will post my findings on the next atomizer I try this on. If anyone else gets this set up working let me know.

Just placed my order for the tubing. Sad, huh?
I was going to go out and get some today, but we had a flat coming home from the game last night. The dang locking lugnut tool was not in the car-Thank you dealership. So no go to going anywhere today.
Thanks Vapn-can't wait to give this a try. If this works like you/we hope, getting the harder plastic/clear bottles will make life easier!

LOL...I suspect what is happening is since the juice and air passages were designed to be seperate, one is creating a vacuum when sucking which is allowing the juice to flow into the main atomizer compartment (without first entering into the main airway where it would be immediately sucked into your mouth) Once in the main atomizer chamber, it sees a vacuum drop and is able to flow onto the atomizer bridge/element. It will be interesting to see how it works with other atomizers with different draw characteristics. I suppose one could even introduce a variable orifice size into the VapeMate to adjust this feed rate, but like all armchair quarterbacking, reliable implementation is much more challenging.

All I can add is that my juice is disappearing from the bottle magically and turning into a flavorful vapor.

Like siphoning gas out of the car's tank and into the can for the lawn mower, but with a much more pleasant taste. =)

It's interesting that you've been able to control the flow of it so far.

Along with the T-Tip, David was first to incorporate O-rings into connection points. I *think* his intent was to ensure a snug connection for the varying atty apertures, but in your case those O-rings are assisting in the vacuum effect of the VM.

Sometimes the best discoveries are accidents, like Lucite. =)

Oh man, I pray this is not a fluke. I really can't wait to see what happens with other atties you test. If this really works on consistent basis, I'm gonna go bananas...

very interesting... I have a tube in mineas well but it doesn't reach the bottem... after reading this i started paying closer attention to the eye glassand every once in a while I'll see a little bit go by but not as much as you are describing... I wounder if the adjustable draw causes it to lose that vaccume effect... I'm going to try a carto on the P16 to see if I get that stronger vacume effect you are getting.

Edit:
oh man with out the adjustable draw it feeds a lot better.... I tried another tecnique that may come in handy... to get it started better just simply take light puff while squeezing the bottle slightly. you should start seeing more flowing by.... oh by the way this works great with cartos as well....

Vapen this is a bad ... discovery.... :)

make sure your tube goes all the way to the bottom, and cut it at a 45% angle on the bottom too, this helps Grimmer and prime it so no air is in the tube

Yea it must have been the draw on the atty doing it. Today as the atty tightened up the Auto feed slowed down and was not working very well anymore. I will try again with a new atty just as soon as this one starts petering out. Will post my findings.... It does work just not every time. The one thing that is nice about the VM is you can always squeeze the bottle and get juice when it doesn't work, that is the KEY!!! Irritation gone!

thanks for the tip:
thats a bit too much tube though... but i do have the dimensions.. i assume that will work with bottles that those of us don't have ours yet will get.

So far, Dave is sending some bottles out, and others are rounding up bottles for availability,
- and there is the boil the threads - and screw on to VM for custom fit.

I hope i'm ready when my VM arrives.

Keith if you're using a 510 atty take a 5/64" drill bit and drill the two holes out on the threads. It will revive the atty. Make sure you don't go to deep just enough to drill those holes out. You'll be amazed at the difference. The draw won't be tight anymore.

ukeman, you will be more than ready, all you need is a child safe bottle.... its as easy as one two three to use.

thanks harpo, I will try that tomorrow at work. I should have one of those in my tool box. Are you talking about making the original holes larger? I can see that working quite well. I wish there was an adapter that gave us adjustable draw... without being the size of a bus.

Sorry for the late reply but yes the original holes.
