Been using my new vapemate for a few days now and must say I'm impressed. This little puppy really delivers and does EXACTLY what it was intended to do. I am having one problem though. Not with the Vapemate but I'm not really thrilled with the 510 atomizer. I got a good one (Cisco LR) but I'm used to the LR306. I don't like the airy draw on this 510...and the flavor doesn't seem to come through like on the 306 when dripping. Didn't I read a while back that a 306 adapter was on the horizen? That would be great. Thanks for such a fantastic little creation. Love it!!

you could put a condom piece over the bottom of the atty to fix the draw...i do that when the draw is too airy...

Do you mean leak out of the atomizer bottom our out of the Vapemate, as the Vapemate shouldn't leak at all with the proper bottle type I've seen some atomizer type drip shields, but i have no plans to make them at this time.

yeah I mean leak out of atomizer bottom, using different kind of bottles I have to use different strenghts on squeezing and I often end up leaking out of atty. My fault, VM is simply perfect

Ok maybe I will have to head to dripshield then, do they work with vapemate? I wonder if they leave enough space on top of atty for putting the VM in

Bebbo, Try the empty bottles that David sells. That's what I am doing in my next order.

By the way, I finally found out that Super T has the 801 atomizer adapter for the Vapemate and immediately got one of those. I find that on bigger battery setups, and especially when dripping, 801 has a lot going for it.

I do use the Drip Shield with 901s...haven't tried it with 510s and they don't fit on the 801s, which leak less anyway because they're so nice and roomy. I overfilled a lot the first week or so. Oh who the heck am I kiddin'? I usually overfill, even when direct dripping.

If you like 801s, I would strongly recommend trying the BE112 (an 801 clone) in both regular and LR form - for me they give better flavour AND hit than 801s

I have not tried it with a drip shield, but i don't see why it wouldn't work with it. As far as the color, i'm not sure what color the gun color on drip shields is? The titanium colored vapemate looks the color of freshly machined titanium, kind of a matte silver/gray color.

Thanks for responding. Going to try one out. Just worried because only certain trip tips work with the drip shield. I guess no one here has experience hope it works. Guess I am going to go with black on the drip shield because I don't think the dark greys would match. The platinum drip shield btw looks great.
