Hey atavanhalen, I was thinking it probably wouldn't work either but there is no harm in asking.... an adapter would be sweet.... 510 to 801... he could make it like the drip tips...

looks like an easy way to drip, but its not really an auto feed. looks nice, but not for me.
This device wasn't designed to be an out and about device, it was meant to serve the needs of those who were once addicted to tobacco and need an easier way to vape at home or on the road and this device delivers. It is extremely user friendly, a breeze to switch liquids, doesn't leak and is small and light. Converting back to a drip or carto setup also takes only seconds. It isn't for everyone, but for those hardcore vapers, it's a real pleasure to have. It's also a trick little piece to see in person.
I remember some of the resistance that was expressed when i first invented the drip tip and it went on to be one of the most widespread and used accesories in the ecig community. This is a little more user specific then my drip tip invention, but like all of my products, it works, is well thought out and is executed with precision and care.

wasnt trying to be insulting. its a great looking unit and im sure it is built well. i just dont like dripping,never been able to get the hang of it, i always seem to flood the atty or keep the atty too dry. this defininatley looks like it would make dripping easier and cleaner. i guess i was hoping it would be a feeder that you can just screw on that keeps the atty filled with just the right amount of liquid.
again, its very nice and if i was a dripper, i would have to have one.
I bet this device is going to be outstanding. I could definatly use one, especially while driving or at home... I can finally put those cartos to rest.

Please make an adapter for the mini 801's and provide the 5ml child proof bottles..... heck make it a kit or add an optional list with the juice feeder. Thanxs for providing such outstanding ecig devices.

No worries, i wasn't insulted! I'm just promoting the benefits. I've learned in this industry there can be a lot of resistance when something new comes in the pipe. Traditionally in the past, it (resistance and criticism) mostly came from fans or producers of competing products, so i've learned, when you are getting a lot of criticism, you've actually done something noteworthy;-)
No variable voltage on the Shockwave, but i do have a feeder, variable voltage box mod in the works. It'll go into production after the first wave of shockwaves are done. It's really trick.
I don't know if i'll do an updater or not for 801's or mini 801's, but if demand is there, i may do a unit specifically for those atomizers.
Cleaning's a breeze, just dishsoap and hot water and blow it out. I do suppose you could boil it once a month too just to give it a super clean if you wanted.
Hey forcedfuel, I guess I'll have to wait a little while longer for the 801 version or adapter.... I will say though you did one hell of a job on crafting that juice feeder.

I've toyed with some ideas in my head. The key two requirements on making one that wraps around the atomizer is 1) The juice can't actually be in contact with the outside of the atomizer as juice is mildly caustic and slowly dissolving paint or clearcoat particulate matter into your juice and 2) the resovoir can't be made of aluminum as again, the juice is slowly dissolvling the aluminum and you are injesting aluminum particulate matter. Perhaps a tank of made of some type of durable, food safe plastic.
My other juice feeder i have is a totally integrated juicer in a "box" mod with variable voltage.

I'm dripping with a riva and drip tip right now and frankly, I'm just pretty dumb with it.
I'm always running it dry and getting that nasty burnt taste.
I think because I'm afraid of over-dripping, flooding the atty, and getting juice everywhere.
...which leads me to my question(sorry if it's been answered):
The device won't leak and can control over-dripping?
That's my main concern. I DO NOT want anything to leak(I get paranoid of the juice getting on me.)
Also, I must have missed it, but are these things for sale now?

By not leaking, i mean the device itself won't leak. Any atomizer, if flooded, can leak juice out the bottom though, so one has to learn not to add too much juice to your atomizer. With this design, the user determines and controls how much juice they want to inject. So, yes, you can flood your atomizer, just like with dripping if you drip, or in this case, squirt too much. You'll develop a feel for it in no time.
perhaps i could make a sleeve that would hold the juice feeder in place for the 801 attie.... I'm going to check Lows to see what kind of o-rings and rubber sleeves they have... I may be able to get that juice feeder to work on the 801 and have a proper seal to boot.....

I really could use that juice feeder.... any suggestions on what to get would be great. Or perhaps I could trade you a brand new mini 801 attie for a pro-type adapter?

Interesting design. Not what I expected. Looks well built. I have seen others do similiar drip feeds to work with a tube mod by using pvc and attaching it to the mod somehow, then a tube up to regular cartridge to pump juice to it. I am sure it works well. Unfortunately I am not up for having something hanging on my atomizer. If at home, I can just drip, and if on the road (in a car) I will switch to a cartomizer. If on my bike, well I don't get to vape a whole lot (but I do occasionally). I may get one regardless, just to try it out, depending on price.
By not having a tube that extends into the bottle, you have to turn the unit on it's side to send juice through the unit. Wouldn't it make more sense to have a tube so that it could be fed in an upright position? I would think that would allow the juice to hit the center of the coil rather than drip down the inside of the atty. I'm sure you've thought of this but I'm curious as to your thoughts on this design.
