This was an excellent read! I'm constantly getting crap from my girlfriend about all the parcels and envelopes arriving each week with some new juice, cartomizer, or drip tip. It is kind of ridiculous sometimes. I suppose a modicum of restraint from time to time may not hurt.

I'm still a bit of a closet vaper, in that I don't like to do it conspicuously in public. A little common sense goes a long way in not pissing people off. That being said, it still beats smoking with a bat. I hope you and your hubby can find some middle ground.

Thanks for the laughs!

LMAO! This is really a great post. I know you were explaining problems that you had with your husbands obsession with e-cigs. But, how you worded it was hilarious. Really enjoyed reading through the whole thing.

On another note, I think I'm getting to where your husband is. I literally have a box of juice and cartomizers and my collection of pv's is growing. I guess it's because I like variety. Never thought I would get this carried away with it honestly. It just happened that way.

Anyways, you hear about the sale they're having at Halo.....um.....nevermind

our 21 year old daughter was driving hubby and i to a restaurant for dinner the other night when from the front seat i heard her exclaim ‘dad, can ya give it (vaping) a rest. I can't see the road!!!”
what looked like a mini cloud had totally enveloped the front of the car.
I don't blame her at all for getting upset.

Personally i think this is getting a bit over the top….my husbands vaping obsession that is.
Now that he has bought this “grip” thingy and insists on vaping 100% vg at whatever ridiculous voltage he vapes at, he constantly looks as though he is about to spontaneously combust.
(seriously, it's embarrassing.)

he gave me a go of his long forgotten (well, it wasn't that long ago that he bought it) provari the other day .
I nearly died.
I felt like i had just inhaled a sauna.
I don't even think if i stuck a whole packet of cigarettes in my mouth that the sensation could have been as thick. …. As vaporous.
I can't imagine what the “grip” feels like….he must have to chew through vapor that thick.

I think he wanted me to have the provari but really honestly i don't think it's very lady like to walk around sucking on something that looks like a screwdriver….(or worse).
Besides i think i'd get a repetitive strain injury .
I'm quite happy with my slimline little ego. I can take dainty little puffs and since it's mainly pg i don’t have to worry about someone trying to extinguish me.

I really have to laugh whenever he mentions ‘stealth vaping”.
Umm…?

This “ grip” thing……now he’s saying he wants one “the other way round”…button on the other side – or something? So he might sell the provari . ::::rolling eyes::::
What's up with that?

Cigarettes were much easier.
There was no statement to make with those, except “look at me killing myself”.
Now, with this “grip” and the insides of it with all the wires, the timer and the red light…
my god, could he find anything that looks any more bomb like?
This from a person that frequently travels internationally… (cringe)
i think all this vapor is seriously clouding his judgment.

The home office looks like a drug lab with all the bottles, syringes countless containers of flavourings , liquids and other paraphernalia lining his desk shelves.
Things keep arriving in packages...

I have one pv and i vape one flavor.
I don't walk around as though i am creating my own weather phenomena above my head.

Its really very simple.

And they say women are complicated creatures?

lmao...........

"You might tell him that vaping while driving is potentially unsafe. In my experience it has been more of a distraction than a cell phone."

I agree with this! It was anyway BEFORE - when I caught him trying to drip and drive!!!
Now that he has the grip - which basically I guess is a big ole tank thing (looks like a fancy wooden soap dispenser to me) there is less of a distraction except for the copious clouds of vapour.
Lucky he catches trains most of the time.
If they were steam trains I reckon he'd have no problem stealthing.

Some unsolicited advice: Suggest that he use cartos while driving so no top offs nor dripping are required. Also get an an ecig that is light enough that he can keep the ecig clenched between his teeth. That will allow him to keep both hands on the wheel. Also have two or three completely assembled ecigs so there is no fooling around changing batteries.

One ecig setup that fits my description is the JOYE 510 with hard plastic JOYE 510 cartos and extended life JOYE 510 manual batteries. If you try them, get them in white. They will be easier to fill because the white is translucent.

HTH,
Dave

( I haven't read through the thread fyi so this is to the OP)

I used a 510 and I liked how simple it was... until the carts made me want to cry. Nearly 9 months of stress. My only reason of hesitating on an eGo was the size...

...but I love my eGo. I'm hesitant about box mods and the like... they intimidate me.

Men are most definitely more complex than females.

The problem is that once you have gone variable voltage it is very hard to go back. I use my Grip between 6 & 7.5 volts usually, and have it with me all of the time except when I am going through airports and such. At those times I find that the eGo is very unsatisfying in comparison. Just cant the the flavour, volume or temp of the vapor to where I like it.

Trust me, tracy is far far far more complex than I will ever be....LOL. For me it is either black or white. She has 1000 shades or more of gray between the black & white. :)

This exactly why I've restrained myself from going above 3.7V... The wife showed me our account last night, and it's staggering the amount I've spent in just over a month. I thought I was around $600... It's closer to 8

I guess the only saving grace, is I have enough hardware to not be bored, and enough juice, atties, cartos, etc to last me almost a year (due to not knowing which way the wind is blowing up here). I'm waiting for my "break even" point (3 months now...), then will hop into the higher voltage, VV pool where everyone else is swimming. There's just so much out there I "want", and none of it I really need. I'm talking to you Darwin, Provari, and GG!

Still waiting on my last four deliveries  and then I'm done for as long as I can hold off.

Naw...we just try to be complex so we can impress women with how smart we are or how we are sensitive guys who care about feelings. Trouble is that women aren't buying it :)

It's worse than that. They can find 1000 shades of white.
