I can't say if I think they're the "best" or not. I haven't been inclined to shop anywhere else for hardware and cartomizers. All I use. Gets the job done. Company has been totally reliable. What else can be said? If I'm not even inclined to shop around in a year, just plunk down the cash like going to the store and buying cigarettes - with nary a thought, then they must be approaching "perfect", right? :)

That's the kind of store I'm looking for, one stop shopping for long term. Let me ask this, do you prefer auto or manual batteries?? (I'm getting ready to plunk down $200.00 and don't know whether to get the autos, which I prefer, or the manuals if they're better quality).

My thoughts exactly. Except the "in a year" part. I'm not there YET, but I will be. :2cool:

I'm not quite there yet either, ThankU4'. Few more days... ;)

Maxwell' - That's a personal kinda thing that I think everyone needs to figure out on their own. The manuals are unquestionably more rugged. I never really _wanted_ to quit smoking. I always figured I'd "knock it off" at the ten-pack-year mark (where medical science has largely landed on 'extreme hazard zone'. Smoking a pack a day for ten years). At eleven, I decided I had to do something. Since I wanted to closely approximate smoking, I went with the autos. I killed two batteries in the learning curve of over-filling or leaving residue in the airway. From that point I haven't killed anymore auto batteries.

Anecdotal at best, but I prefer the autos. The vast majority here will tell you they prefer manuals.

My advice would be to just pull the trigger on _something_. Get your toe wet, see if vaping is right for you. (although your registration date suggests you may already vape and are just looking for a new supplier?)

Yeah, I forgot I joined this forum a long time ago. I was so confused about e-cigs and was trying to learn. Last month a small store in my hood started selling cheapy S801B1-2 no name crap e-cigs, but I got a good enough taste of it to become hooked;) The battery life of these crappy things are about 3 weeks, but it's still the best $20 I spent to get my feet wet. I know I don't want to 'drip' atomizers constantly and have been looking for a good 2 piece. That's when I stumbled on V4L. I've been ordering their juice and refilling carts so I've decided to go with their start up kit and some accessories. The choices and stores are so numerous, it can certainly confuse a newbie. My hope is to stick to V4L and recommend them to my friends. If I had more than a Veteran's pension to work with, I'd buy a bunch of different batteries and not worry about anything. If I should have any problems with the autos I'll buy a couple US made ones, though they don't work with the PCC. Who knows whats in store down the road for me? I LOVE vaping! I'm the type that tends to stock up and V4L has plenty of stuff. I'm sure I'll be happy with them, just was asking a few questions to wrap it up and place my order. Like I said, this was a done deal until I started hearing about bad batteries. I'll just take my chances though. I prefer autos but I'll get a couple manuals too. Pretty soon I won't be sounding like a newbie. I might even do a few youtube reviews - mainly for my friends. :D Thanks!! (BTW, where can I get a V4L banner)??

Yes, it can be very confusing. I spent several days of dedicated research before reaching a decision (and that's a lot for me). I actually think the industry as a whole does a very poor job of educating its consumer. That's something I'd expect to improve down the road as the industry is still so young and still finding its high-water-mark.

Hope you pull the trigger and enjoy what you receive! No matter what you decide, after the initial "ouchie!" it's a _tremendous_ cost savings. Almost $2000 for me in the first year and that's after amortizing the initial outlay!
