I've only had to send back one of my box mods for repair so far, and a couple of 10440 batteries for it that bit the dust early. A couple of atties and cartos have gone bad, one was my fault for burning it out, the others just died an early death. My initial 2 eGo batts are still going fine *knock on wood*. I might mention I didn't start vaping to save money per se, but to save my life - Analogs were just about to kill me, catching up for my 40 year addiction.

Definitely get another battery if you need (I started with Stainless Steel myself) and atty. That should get you well into next week...

just kidding!

Loved the "just kidding" but right now, that's a true statement for me because being only 11 days into vaping, I don't want to put it down. It's a miracle and the results are still scaring the heck out of me not wanting an analog!!!! Heaven forbid if I try a luscious flavor I've been reading about.....so, I don't want to go there until I have more control over juicing and vaping.
Another question: I have filled out the ticker like yours "I have been vaping for...." and I have copied the tag but how do you attach it to this forum? I pasted the tag but it didn't show up like yours. Just when I thought I was understanding this PC stuff, I seem to get stuck..... thanking you in advance

Best customer service ever is from Cignot. Vicki stands by everything. I had a battery fail after several weeks and she had a new one sent out the same day. She even supplied a prepaid envelope for the return of the defective one. I will always buy my hardware from her because of customer satisfaction.

Thanks for the recommendation Skylar...... There's nothing like good customer service. I couldn't believe the unprofessional and rude experience I had with THE VAPORPRO owner but I'm sure he's rolling in the $$'s (for now) and that's his only priority.....

FinallyQuit_Yippee, I can understand your anger, but the only recourse you have is to vote with your feet and take your business elsewhere. Most of us spend $40-$50 or more per month after the initial purchase on juice and accessories. Batteries are a consumable. I just bought two new Ego batteries since one of mine just failed. If I were you I'd read some threads about situations such as yours and find a supplier who is a little more understanding. After all, a supplier who thinks long and hard about it could just use that "perfectly good" stained battery in house until it dies and send you the one he would have had to use in his vaping, thank you for your business and take your $500 a year in continued business with a smile.

My wife and I were in a local convenience store one night and the cashier gave her $10 too little change back on a carton of cigarettes. I know that she gave the lady two $20's because we had just come from an ATM where she got all $20's after previously telling me her wallet was empty. The proprietor said he would have to check up the cash register before he could know that she was over and told us to come back in the morning. We did and he said he fired her because she was $45 short and he had no overage to give us. After some discussion where he would not budge, I smiled and informed him that we filled up two vehicles twice a week and bought 6 cartons of cigarettes a week at his store and that would not happen anymore. We found another convenience store that appreciated our business and that was his loss. For $10, he lost about $5000-$6000 per year in continued business.

BTW, my first EGO battery just failed after 5 months of daily vaping. It started not making contact. For a while I could rotate it and continue. Later, it would light the led but not heat the atty coil. I think the connection may have corroded from juice leakage into the contact area.

You are soooo right DaveP about my "footsteps" going elsewhere with my business. THE VAPORPRO owner's rude response to my request was so unprofessional. WOW that convenience store owner obviously hasn't taken any customer relations seminars with $$'s put to the formula of customer complaints since he was clueless when you explained to him what he was going to lose. I hope I get 5 months like you did with my eGo battery. You must have gotten the one without the chip that makes'em die after 60 days :) I'm only on day 11 free from analogs and it's a miracle to me. Thanks for your info and do a couple of beeps at the convenience store as you're passing by going to the other C-Store...... Love it !

At the very top of this page, right hand corner click on My Profile. Then in the middle of the Profile page click on the About Me tab. Click on the Signature pencil to edit your sig. Copy & paste your banner into the sig area and save. I think this is it, someone correct me if I'm wrong...it's been awhile.

Thanks again for your help.... going there now.

Finally Quit:Sad to hear you had a bad customer service experience. And although you feel 'cheated', what about getting a 'skin' for the batt? There are suppliers that make them, it would at least cover it up for you? I love my Ego's too, got them from Cignot. There are some GREAT suppliers here, them and ModernVapor etc...they are all awesome.

Thanks much for the info humarock. I don't feel "cheated" as I did not want a refund, just an exchange due to the poor quality of the white material on the Joye eGo. My feelings were all about how unprofessional THE VAPORPRO owner treated me as a new customer with a genuine concern and request. He was rude and very ridgid on a legitimate complaint that needs to be addressed by the Joye Mfg. But thanks to ECF members like you, I am now aware of great suppliers of Joye that don't treat their customers the way THE VAPORPRO owner handled my request.
