RT reviewed it recently on YT and said it was the best rda ever. I dont think anyone has reviewed it here yet. I want one.
Yeah, I saw his review but, well...
It looks amazing, but I just wonder how good it is for flavor. I guess it will depend on the build, and it looks like it is a builder's paradise (and even a non-builder's paradise)! You gonna get one, @sonicbomb?
This is on my short list as well. I'm still in search of a 2 post RDA for Ni builds that doesn't come with major drawbacks. This isn't 2 post, but it is built like one, and if it is as solid as it looks, it might even be okay with dual Ni coils.
It has been reviewed by a couple of others and all give it great reviews. Mine should be delivered Friday. Can't wait.
I ordered up a clone to practice drilling it for bottom feed and to see how well I get along with it.
I own one and while the build deck and airflow options are great having to line up the tab gets annoying and I put it back on the shelf and continue to use my derringers. Flavor just doesn't compare.

You saying that the flavor isn't really there with the Velocity doesn't make me all that confident. That is an absolute must-have for me! I wonder if this is really just a cloud chasing atty. I know it does chuck 'em, but I thought it was supposed ot be good for flavor. Like really good?!
I have two of the OverOne rda's by MMV and the Velocity has a lot in common with the OverOne. The Velocity has different post arrangement and the top indirect airflow holes, but the primary airflow slots (including their adjustment) are identical to the OverOne. I would think the Velocity would give close to the same flavor as the OverOne when using only the primary airflow slots and the OverOne gives great flavor production for me. The only thing that may hurt the flavor production on the Velocity is that it is slightly taller than the OverOne due to the space needed for the top airflow holes.
I am going to get a clone of the Velocity to try it out and compare it to the OverOne. I really like the post arrangement of the Velocity and it should work great with Nichol builds. Should be able to get some rather large coils mounted.
Just ordered the clone from Eciggity. Was going to buy the authentic from Avid Vapor but it is out of stock, which got me looking around and I came across the clone. I know Tobeco has a good track record with clones, and this one isn't all that complicated, so for $20 (as opposed to $115) it is easily worth the risk.
Same as above. I'm sure avidvaper is a small operation, but they're really shooting themselves in the foot. I fall for hype very easily and am ready to pull the trigger, Unfortunately for them every time I check it's out of stock. I bought the clone today. Would have definitely bought the authentic if it were available.
You might want to consider getting Avid's bottom feed pin and cutting it to a more reasonable length. It's a pretty sweet little bit of machining. It might take some modification of the negative post to get this atty to drain all the way, but it really doesn't matter with how deep the juice well is.
I'm not sure if its possible to get that "my mouth is coated with eliquid" kind of flavor that a Derringer or REMatty or Freakshow Mini delivers without some crazy low ohm build. But the flavor it does deliver is substantial and spot on - my favorite atty. Only the Vector comes close right now.
Okay, so you know you just made me ears perk up when mentioning The Vector. I am thinking the Velocity might be the perfect atty for Claptons and the like.
Claptons are ALL I have run in mine so far. I keep thinking about doing a different build, but then I vape it...
Well, my clone arrived today. What a bear to mod for bottom feed. I got lucky, really lucky. Drilling the copper screw is above my skill and the precision of my equipment. But, it works.
