I'm so new at this whole thing that I'm still feeling my way, but I wanted to comment on my experience with the Vision Stardust. I love this thing. At first, I hated it because I'm not used to worrying about the wick staying wet and I kept getting a mouthful of burnt taste, but I filled one, let it sit over night to saturate and was able to use it the whole next day without any problems. So much less mess than the cartridge I was using and refilling every couple of hours.

Anyone else having good luck with a Stardust?

Lots of folks have excellent luck with Stardusts.

One of their most charming aspects is the fact they can be cleaned and reused. My two earliest Stardusts have each had about 100 ml. of eliquid vaporized in them and they're still vaping just fine. Each has been cleaned 30-35 times. Look around here and you'll find instructions on cleaning (many different methods and most of them work well) and simple maintenance.

I just bought some (still waiting on them). I'm glad to hear your having a good experience with them. I've heard alot of concern around the wick and issues but i don't see that as a real issue. Most of the time when i'm not using my PV its on the table laying flat. Maybe that's bad practice? I'm not sure but in this particular situation i see it helping.

I love the Stardusts -- once I accepted that fact that they have a very limited lifespan. When you fill a new one, they are superb! Primo! Perfect!

In my experience, they are good for 3-4 days. After that, they start tasting nasty and harsh, or lose their taste altogether. I've tried everything that I've read/heard to resurrect them (cleaning, washing, dry-burning), but it doesn't work for me. Once it dies, it's dead. Re-fill a cleaned one and it tastes just as bad as it did before. They are disposables, just like cartos. But I much prefer them to cartos, even though they cost quite a bit more.

One of these units costs about $2 per day. That's a lot cheaper than what I paid for my previous nicotine delivery system.

Obviously, your mileage may vary. But mine is consistently at 3-4 days. Then they go in the trash and I get a fresh one.

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying yours! Unfortunately, I'm not able to say the same. I found that the throat hit was very harsh - enough that I went back to analogs for a day or so. :( I do recognize that there are several advantages to these - ease of cleaning, no leaking, being able to see exactly how much juice you have at any given time, and frankly, the look is very cool! I'm sure I will try them again when they come out with a new and improved model. I can only hope for the best!

I haven't had the throat hit problem and I don't like a strong TH. Is throat hit all related to the atomizer or does it depend on battery and juice blend, too? Mine are still pretty new, only been used for a couple days and so far, the taste is still very good. Thanks for letting me know that I'll need to replace it soon. I also ordered some (I think they are called) Boge, so I'll see which one I like better and report back later. :)

John1952, have you tried cleaning them using 91% isopropyl alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner? It takes five or more four-minute zaps in the machine. Then I let them dry completely overnight, baste the cracks with Ambroid if necessary, reassemble, fill and vape away.

Here are the details on my method for cleaning and repairing Stardusts:
