Thought this might be a good time to show the feeding instructions many of us found useful:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-video-reviews/195396-vmod-7.html#post3753043

Here's the text from the above link:

1) invert device & wait for juice to fill the bottleneck on the fill bottle. You may even wiggle it a bit & look for the air bubbles.

2) turn upright & squeeze the bottle.
(You will hear the pocket of juice release into the chamber.)

3) dry pull a few times to fill the Hybrid or Silo with juice from the chamber.

4) Vape

5) when atty or carto gets dry, do a couple of dry pulls again.

6) when chamber is empty...see #1

Notes: make sure you are using both seals on the atty or carto. One is an o-ring on above the threads, the other is a band that goes around the atty. Having both of these seals in place is imperative to prevent leaking.

If it's not firing right away, make sure the button is completely unlocked (twisted all the way clockwise). On two of mine, I had to jimmy the spring underneath just a bit because it was trying to spin the button and lock itself. Since then, no problems. Only do the squeeze procedure once. That's all it needs till it starts to dry a bit. As for batteries, everyone has their own preference. I like the AW IMRs myself when using 3.7v. I believe there is only one option for 6 volt. I have some juice that I prefer at 6v and some I like at 3.7. I might be the luckiest guy on earth, but after running well over 100 ml of juice through 2 of them (plus another 40 ml on another so far), I have had exactly zero leakage.

EDITED TO ADD:

I consider the cold draw to be completely optional. I've never done it, and since my vmods work flawlessly and without leakage, I've never had to. A buddy also got one several weeks ago, he also omits the cold draw, and he has never had any leakage either. YMMV.

KK... check to see if the wire from the button is in the hole of the chamber... When you installed the catch cup you my have dislodged it without realizing.... The Vmod should fire every time since it has no electronics.... Its a basic circuit that should always fire unless a bad connection...

You only need to do the tilt thing one time... Don't have to do it every time you need juice as well since there will be some in the chamber from the last tilt and squeeze... Just give another squarsh, squish, squeeze, ect....
