Hey guys I don't mean to invade your thread joker but I have a few questions for the vets or anybody about the vmod. I just got mine yesterday and this is my first pv. I am using the carto that came with it. Its not the xl as I couldn't get one of those cuz when I decided to get a pv I was looking at the vmod and wanted the xl but they were out. so just got the vmod. However it just cant keep up. After 3 or 4 hits and it kinda gives out. I am guessing that would be from battery drainage.
I think I might need a passthrough but what kind do you all suggest I am thinking of the usb variety. Someday I hope to build one myself. But until then.. one more this might be a silly or dumb ? but the usb adapter that comes with the vmod charger. Could that be used at a 5v connection to run a pt or would it damage something? just askin.
Thanks guys.

I'm not thinking it's the battery drain.

If a carto (or atty) is too dry you get dry somewhat harsher hits and if too wet you get little vapor and sometimes it won't fire. Also, it could be a timing issue. That's something we each have to learn for ourselves as we all are a bit different in how we draw.

It has been said that the Vmod is good for direct draw, much like an analog. I got in the habit of puffing more like a cigar or pipe and then inhale and prefer that.

You also might want to try the atty. Search "how to drip" on the forum and try dripping on the vmod. This will teach you the feel for when you need to feed.

I'm not familiar with the Vapage USB adapter, but it may have an input/output rating on it. That is what you need to know for compatability. Most likely it will be fine. I believe the only problems arrise when the "wall wart" is putting out more electricity than your device can handle.

Hope this helps. Do ask questions -- here and on the forum. There is always someone with an opinion or advice!

Happy vaping.

One of my Vmods went to a new home today. Happy and sad.
Happy that we will have another Vmodian.
Sad to see my buddy go.

One of my clients wanted to start vaping, so I hooked her up.
I'd never sell one of my children, but I'd give one away!

time for a new adoption... the V-Mod 2.0!

Hey Vmoddians it's been awhile. Tried the XL but prefer the original with aw's on board. CT makes the big brother painful for me to use but I adore the improvements. After 6 months, I'm used to carrying a spare batt and WTA has helped drop my juice consumption by half. I'm so happy with my set up that the "search" is over and am out of touch with new gear coming out. That's saying something!

V-mod 2.0 will have the same feeding system as it's big brother V-Mod XL I think. I don't think the search is over! LOL. :D

They are silicone but thicker like the originals. Work flawlessly for me.

Oh ok.. my kit did not come with the upgrade seal kit. so i have to improvise! i'm using o-rings from my tank setups. so far no leaks. I'm using 3 o-rings. 1 on the cone (just to double seal for it not to leak on the top), 1 on the carto body and 1 on the bottle. also I cut a silicon condom and made a catch cup from it.

LOL! I thought I was the only one doing this and I was a little iffy at first and afraid it will leak! since vapage doesn't have the seal kit in stock and can't send me one. I have to improvise my own! Skinny said that he will take care of me when he gets back from China. until then i'll rock this! I'm very happy with the mod.
