From what I understand... Screwing down the cone too hard could result in cracking.

fyi, e-cig city in laguna beach is a distributor of the vmod/accessories. it might be worth a call to see if you can get your warranty issue handled there - nice drive up the coast, e-cig city is a great place to hang, and it beats waiting for the mailman.TY ejoker. Upon inspecting the newest one (3 days in my hands) I am getting the same crack in the same place. Not sure if it's the removal of the shell (think so), but there are vertical marks all around the curvature of the chamber. When I opened it up, it has seepage around the plastic outer chamber...argh! It's usable, but doubt what Vapage had in mind. The 3rd Vmod will hopefully arrive today. Got sent to Oakland for some weird reason and sat 2 days there.
Now to top it off, I sold the last of my reos and shipped yesterday. My custom wood box mod arrived and has issues and needs to go back to it's maker. Batting 1K here.

Here's a pic of mine. I just noticed this after reading the previous posts. It's just to the left of the seam.

Anybody else experiencing problems with their buttons? Mine has started to turn itself off. What I mean by this is that when I turn it to "on", there is a bit of resistance, from the spring, near the end of the turn that when released it centers the key with the slot. It has always been there but now the resistance from the spring is turning it back too far and the key is not meeting the slot.
