So who wants to do a macro photo complete pictorial on the insertion of the catch cup? I need a total step by step, but particularly how to flatten it out to fit under such a small place (that I can't even see!).

its a tricky SOB. had to use a dental pick and needle nose type tongs. folded it in half and smashed it down in there but it took forever to center the slit with the positive wire connection. so far its been working great!
You're a braver man than I, johnny. I haven't even attempted the catch cup procedure. I read the instruction sheet and then (blank it), I just want to vape on this thing NOW! Tossed on the new 1.5 BF atty and I'm already getting into nic coma. It is ABFAB!
I did notice one thing initially. The cone will not screw down all the way without over tightening it. This leaves a bit of play between the cone and the body, and a subsequent bit of a rattle. It may settle in with use tho.
I got an email my replacement was shipped on the 24th as well.
About this catch cup...... once installed, if juice gets into it- how / when does it get out? Won't it just create fewer but bigger 'leakages'?

OK, that makes sense..... I never used a PV with a catch cup before, I also didn't realize a 'dry pull' would be able to get down that far.
I guess I need to study the anatomy of a VMod a bit more (lol).

currently awaiting the premier package for vmod! kinda lazy to purchase the battery from else where due to the fact that vmod doesn't comes with battery or charger!

Thanks Vikki and Kat. I'm far enough inland that I am just getting the outer bands off Irene, a little wind and rain. My hard headed daughter is at school on the coast and decided to ride Irene out. I have been in touch with her and other family at the coast (Wilmington/ Wrightsville Beach, NC) and everybody is OK. No power, No cable but, they are riding the storm out..........
