Ok, I'm definitely needing some supplies here: 1) Anybody know who has batts on sale this weekend?? 2) Need some more bottles, I know there are some floating around out there w/slightly diff threads, but I'd like to get as close as I can to what i have, since it's hard enough for me to get deal w/these lil bottles cuz of my hands... I don't see any replacement bottles on vapage yet. thanks :)

ejoker also has mentioned no need to squonk. Do you dry pull with the mod tipped as in tilt & shoot or standing?

Greetings you all-
From time to time I have noticed that folks seem to have a problem with leaking and I just wanted to take a second and share the fact that you can feed your atomizer or cartomizer with out ever touching the bottle by taking primer draws. Not at all the ideal way to use the Vmod but even the cartomizers will feed in this way. Myself I like the atomizer which did seem to be a bit prone to over feeding (user eror on my part due to many ML. of juice with out leaks) but with the new chassis seems very solid so far. I do not know if it is the bottom gasket or what. The leaking on the chassis in the pictures above seem to be from over feeding and a need to install the catch cup. Once you learn to become one with the Vmod all things are clear.

I dry pulled w/the mod tipped and got a mouth full of juice!! Could of been pulling too hard, but it wasn't a very nice experience and thought to myself "well that was stupid". Now I'm re thinking that, maybe just not tipped?

Hey all my fellow Vmoders, I am just stopping in for a minute to let you all know what I have found to be the issue with any wet attys people are having: I have found that when I am screwing on the cone to the chassis to hold the body on it is causing the o-ring that is around the atty to sit way to far down and it is blocking the holes in the atty from getting the juice. So that being said when I go to squeeze the juice bottle it is forcing the juice up and over the actual o-ring and this is causing the wet atty leakage. I have found that when I screw the atty on I actually need to screw it pretty tight in order for the o-ring to not impede the flow of juice. I think that there may be minor differences in the cone lengths and this is causing the issue I have 2 cones here and they are both doing the same thing but one is just a smedge shorter so I use that one. If anyone has a beeter way to remedy the issue please let me know. The only down fall to this is that now I have a bit of rattling coming from the body not being tightened down to the chassis.

Now that I think I have it worked out I am Vaping away on the Vmod with out leakage at all from anywhere:)

Skinny word via China paraphrased.....

shipping next week;
extra bottles (2 pack)
Vapage "Weekender" carrying case for the VMOD & our new battery for the VMOD.

Brian confirmed the venturi (not venture) is now 1.3 vs 1.6 of the first run attys. Should be a tighter draw but I just got 2.5s yesterday and I don't notice the draw tighter. I like the airy draw as it mimicks the ease of analog smoking. I don't think he likes the ECF V2 lingo on the hybrids, so "second run" would be better vernacular ;-)

Christ, looks like I will be placing yet another order  So far 2 this week.

FREQUENT BUYER PLAN Brian, hint, hint

One thing I did that seemed to also help early on was to cut a eighth on an inch piece off of a -condom- and fashion a O ring.
Then I placed it on the cone up past the threads. This seemed to help early on but I have since not had any leaking with out it so I do not know- Just thought I would through that out. I also put the same band off the condom around the bottle as to take a little strain off when it is pushed. Also do not know if it was helpful or not only know it did not leak from the lowwer end of the unit.

Thanks to those that struggled and forged before me, I installed 2 catch cups in about 10 minutes including gathering tools. The toothpick and lube were spot on!

Oh  that sounds so S&M

3 hours in and the chassis is beautifully and wonderfully dry as a bone.

TY Brain and crew.......VAPAGE ROCKS!!! :headbang:

After being off for 3 days the first day back was a long day at the prison. I came home and no Vmod on the counter, no mail at all. Turns out my wife didn't stop at the mail box. So, after checking the box............. IT'S HERE, THE VMOD HAS ARRIVED!!

Glad to hear that you finally got your vmod. I'm still playing the waiting game, no vmod in the mail yet again.

I cleaned it over and over again to make sure it wasn't the bottle, nope, its between that metal ring and the chasis. Does everyone else have this gap where I drew the arrow?

Seems to working its way up the east coast from the south. I saw a posting a couple days ago from someone in SC. I got mine today in NC. Maybe tomorrow will be VA day.... After a couple hours it seems to be worth the wait..... ;)

Well it's got to be better than the last thing that headed north... Irene. Enjoy your new vmod and I'll be sure to put up a post or two when it arrives. Anybody else pick up some BF hybrid atty's from COV during their Labor Day sale? By the time I heard about it the 1.5's were sold out but the 2.0's were still in stock.
