OK. I know I'm not always the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I can't get my vmod put together using the o-ring that slides over the atty. I cannot get the cone on if I use it. Any thoughts?

maybe a dumb question, but is there already a ring inside the connector? The one that shipped with mine stayed down in the threads, while the one in the rebuild kit is tighter and stays on the atomizer itself. Can't have both in there.

On the first version chassis, mine stayed in place after initial install. The new ones from the kit come in and out quite easily. I just put mine where my old one was (in the chassis, not on the atty) and have no problem with the cone. It does not go down as far with this new O ring I've noticed. Hope that helps.

Others have reported using the pressure of screwing the cone down to seat it. YMMV.

As I said, not the sharpest knife..................Yes there is a ring in there. I didn't see it the first 8 times I looked.:facepalm:

Thanks for making me look again:p

Well after a few emails back and forth to Kristina, the USPS has dropped the ball once again. My order shipped out on 8/24 and has been intransit ever since. After Kristina suggested it, my wife went to the post office today to see if they were holding my package for pick up, but no packageto be found, and the "nice lady" behind the counter told her that because it shows up as "in transit" she couldn't do anything about it. Kristina offered to resend my order, which I think is mighty big of Vapage. Some online vendors would have cut their responsibility and called it the postal carriers fault. But Vapage has really earned my business and praise by taking customer service to the next level. I emailed Kristina and let her know that if the orginial ever shows up I would pay for both or send it back, as it wasn't our fault but the post offices. Brian and Kristina were both very fast to respond to my issue and I will highly recommend their company to my friends who vape as a good supplier.

On a side note I don't think my wife is allowed in the post office any more due to a language issue. But my order of BF atties came in from Clouds of Vapor's Labor day sale today, so I'm all sent when vmod arrives.

:toast:VERY NICE- Para.
I've seen some other postings of your work... you're a regular MacGyver!!

I have seen many of his creations over in that forum. The guy ROCKS! Can't wait to see what he does with the Vmod. :pop: :pop:

I have seen Para's work, too, up close and personal! :D So glad you're here with us.

I finally did it today! I ordered the vmod

Hip Hip, and congrats, enV-modian!

On the subject of the second run O-ring, mine is a bit loose to actually stay on the atty. It slips down, but is easily removed. Screwing the cone down tho, seems to block the juice holes on the atty. Someone else posted this, but I can't find it right this second. I'm being careful to tighten the cone MINIMALLY.

Still no leaks. Leaks were like so.... August ;)

I received an email saying when mine shipped, but if you used the free shipping option there was no tracking number.

After I sent an e-mail about my order I received a tracking number by from Vapage. Sent them another e-mail and ask about a tracking number.

Kat...

Try turning the upper gasket inside out.

Turn the gasket inside out? Install a catch cup? Look, lovie dove, Mrs. Para I am not! Can't you give me something easy to do like just place orders for more GBC? ;)

Ok, that was not as easy as it would seem to be to do. The little O-ring gasket did NOT want to be inside out, but I forced it. Yep, I was brutal.

So that's done. Any more modding you want me to do tonite, dear AG? :)

I think your idea may have done the trick! Just checked the gasket and it's sitting pretty, inside the threads. Thank you, Almighty One.

I think I may have made a terrible mistake...
Tonight I put 2 14250 batteries and a 4.5 ohm atty on my Vmod.
Wow.
I was a heavy smoker for 45 years and have been vaping for almost a year now and loving it, but.....
I chain vape...yeah I love the taste but I don't ever seem to get the real calming relax that I got from analogs so I keep vaping away...constantly if I'm at home on the couch watching TV or reading in bed.

This thing at High Voltage is heavenly.
I'm back to taking a vape like I would a drag on a cig....inhaling...enjoying the sensations and then the flavor and aroma and very thick vaper like I never have before.
And I will vape about 15 drags and put it down and continue to enjoy the vape I just had for a half hour or more before needing to pick up my Vmod again.
This is wonderful!
