vikki, I for one would rather you stuck around here. You have also been very helpful to other people, and your wonderful sense of humour has been appreciated and valued!

Instead of leaving, let's see if there's a way to "fix THIS problem".

I am in agreement with you that there is no real need for specifics of modding EQ that does not pertain to this mod. I'm all for improvements, and yet some suggestions might be better if brought directly to Brian's attention. If, for example, one does not care for the VMOD attys and there are specifics as to why, it seems that that's the information Brian could use for gear changes/improvements. Like you, I'm not looking to buy tools and start modding anything. I want a good "vape out of the box" experience. I know of many smokers who don't even want to give e cigs a chance because they are too much work. Imagine getting them to buy a dremel and a saddle valve with their first starter kit!

I haven't had great luck with the one atty that wasn't doa. I don't think its a vapage problem, more like user error. I just haven't gotten use to feeding it. I really liked the silo cart but alas they are currently out of stock. I've been stalking the vapage website daily. I'm sure taking a dremel to a carto isn't for everyone but without that information my vmod would be collecting dust right now instead of being my all day pv.

The Silo cartos are supposed to be in stock next week.

Don't give up on the Hybrid...they take a little break-in and practice, but I've found them to be wonderful. Try soaking the atty with juice and letting it sit. It can take some time for it to absorb juice and function.

I haven't given up on the hybrid. But the one I have has a burnt taste now so I'm waiting til the silos come in before I order more.

You can give it a soak in PGA...might help remove the burnt taste.

What flavor are you vaping? Is it dark or sweet juice?

I was using coppercreek house blend with it. Not overly sweet but it is dark. I realize this might shorten the life of the attys and carts but it is my favorite all day.

DON'T USE A FRESHLY CHARGED BATTERY, TOO MUCH VOLTAGE... I have killed two BF Hybrid 1.5ohm attys dry burning with a freshly charged battery. Don't hold the button down for more than a few seconds. When you start to see a little red showing on the coil. Just press and release the button to keep the coil from getting too hot. You will start to see more and more of the coil glowing red. When it starts to get almost a neon red look be careful. There is a fine line between too much and just right. I am speaking from experience with Vapage hybird attys only.................

First off ~ thank you Kat, Taz, . I really do miss coming here and joking around and having fun.

Received my replacement vmod in the mail today. Bought it off of classy's. Did a pif w/one of mine as it was the right thing for me to do, but I sure was missing it .. Anyhow just got done playing w/it. Maybe too much?? I'm thinking it might be border line over the top.. But on the flip side it's easier for me to hold on to w/all those wittle bumps those aren't blue bumps either, they are what color, Kat?!? Umm hmmm, yep, purple purple purple

And since I'm creating my own juices these days, most of my liquids are almost as clear as water... I'm loving the diy on juices, more $$ to spend on hardware, lol.

VAPAGE BATTERIES How are they compared to an AW IMR 14500? I have been using the AW IMR 14500 since I got my Vmod. I am starting to see them drop off in vaping time so, I figure it's time to replace them. Before I order some more AW batteries I wanted to see if anybody was using the Vapage battery and hopefully get a heads up on them.

GH, no secret I'm an AW IMR fan, but I do have Vapage batts too. I don't get the hot hit off the top of the charge, but I think the Vapage taper off slower. I usually swap @ about 3.8V.

The Vapage batteries hold up longer than UltraFires, all I can compare them to.
