Love the skinny.

Also, just a reminder to those thinking about getting a VMOD XL, or for those thinking about getting another one: Vapage is taking pre orders on the next shipment, and you can use the 25% code now. Once the new shipment comes in Vapage will go back to regular pricing.

Any idea when the improved version of the Vmod (not XL) will be available? I need a second mod and was thinking of going with this (currently have a REO mini) as it will be able to use all my current stuff (510 LR cartos and 14500 batteries). I see that it is available but I'm not sure if it's the new version that I can use non-proprietary cartos on.

so I disassembled one of my silo cartomizer just to see what's inside! like the v-mod it is simple! pretty nice design.. no loose wires!! its just a nylon sleeve wrapped with a filler. the coil is wrapped in a tiny wick which is attached to the 510 connector base. Then the filler wrapped nylon sleeved was attached to the coil wrapped wick. I was able to adjust the draw on my silo by pushing the wick in using a paper clip! if its too tight... I insert the paper clip on the bottom of the 510 base to raise it up a little. just becareful when pushing.. you don't want the coil to break.

this silo cartomizer is not the same as a regular cartomizer. great design Skiiny!
