Op, you're not the only one. Using vw, I sometimes still had to adjust the wattage.
So I only use vv now. I just adjust it depending on my mood and what my taste buds tell me.
Other people may just set the wattage and forget it and they are satisfied with the vape. Don't sweat it. Each vaper has his/her own unique taste/technique/likes/quirks.
