I thought it was odd the first I heard of it, but I must admit, I never knew or would have guessed they had an ER either. Privately owned by a group of doctors. I seem to remember hearing it was a heart hospital. I don't know if it pertains to the whole visit or just the ER fees, but I know several people who've taken their kids there now for stitches or broken bones and they swear it's great and fast. Who knows, there may be one close to you.
I'm actually 2hrs away, but would have gone there for my latest ones stitches if I hadn't been able to get them done at the pediatricians office. I've got one of those 2 1/2 yr olds too. I also have one of those like someone else posted that's going to probably die from "Hey everybody, look at me!" Had a info discussion with the Dr last week about how he wanted to handle broken bones. Expecting one of those anytime.
