Yes sir......Thats why we bought the PS3 also...Internet over the TV and the BlueRay were deciding factors!

:)The Wiz!

Yep, but if you are like me, I have never played a video game on my PS3!
The unit is a quite a marvel, I upload my travel pic's and video's and play them back on the HDTV. I do need to get a wireless keyboard, that controller sucks!

Well, Avatar was pretty good. But, I'm sure there had to be tons lost from 3-D to HD only.

Guess what, I didn't get depressed Audiences experience 'Avatar' blues - CNN.com

I remember reading a few of these articles when the movie was out and can only say it had to be the 3-D effect and the association to being 'real'. Next time I need to go to the movies, so I can appreciate it more without it losing that edge on just a regular HDTV.

Has anyone seen it both ways?

PTJD.....I have a 16 year old son....You know that we have played some video games on the PS3..LOL!! I really enjoy the picture viewer on the PS3 as well....The Music that acompanies it is nice also. We bought the remote controller for it.....but I wouldn't mind a wireless keyboard!

Sorry to hear that PTJD. I think if my Mom wouldn't have said something my oldest wouldn't have had a clue... He did think about it after she said something though and got me a Chickenfoot DVD.

I haven't been watching many movies lately, but Book of Eli looked good. I have been on a TV-on-DVD kick, though. I'm working through the second season of Weeds at the moment. If you've got a sarcastic streak and a bit of a filthy mind, it's a good watch!

I was thinking of catching up on "Rescue Me" and "Mercy" for those exact reasons!!! Might just have to pick up "Weeds".:D

Oh firechick, I am just kidding as usual. I probably have too much time on my hands. That won't be the case this weekend. I have a ton of stuff to do saturday and sunday is my wife's b-day so I would guess that I won't be online much this weekend.

PTJD, just watched The Book of Eli on Saturday. It's dark, and has a kind of twist at the ending that made it unusual. We liked it.

I'm home alone again this weekend, will go rent it. Thanks!

Chickenfoot is a band with Sammy Hagar, and a few others. :D Lots of fun to listen to, and now to watch.

Well the kids got her a few small things and my oldest daughter thought it would be nice to get her some Little House on the Prairie DVD's since she likes that. Well I found a good deal on a box set that has all nine seasons, the tv movies and three special feature discs. In all it's sixty discs that are organized into a binder set up that has a picture of a wagon on the front. This will be something different compared to the usual gift card for a massage or cash in an envelope. I think she will like it. I also ordered a cake that I will pick up tomorrow and we are having people over Sunday for cake and ice cream and I am going to smoke some boneless ribs and cook hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken for everyone. I will be sure to have a few cold coronas in the fridge and will try my best to make sure she has a good day.
