Well, the 4th of July was pretty successful this year. After all is said and done, my Dad will be able to make a $1,000 payment on the memorial. I am very proud of being a part of this.

I am also proud to know Sherry's son Tim. He is a fine and honorable young man that I am proud to know. He has done two tours in Iraq, and I also found out he will probably be going to Afghanistan. Sherry did real well with this young Man.

gratuitous pics of Tim. He doesn't know I am posting these, and I know he would feel weird about it.

Skrymr, give him my thanks also!

Well its been 14 years but made it back to Romanee-Conti and the other Grand cuvee vineyards. You can Google DRC Romanee Conti and see, but its 4 acres of the most expensive wine ( Pinot Noir or otherwise) in the world. Some will say others taste better for a Pinot Noir but does not change the fact some of the older vintages go for $9000/bottle and up.

Oh, here is a picture for The Wiz, W/O girl in background!:)

I still like the idea of drawing a face on it and even maybe glueing on some arms and legs. Might make it a little awkward to use though. Maybe if someone had a dead one we could do that and send it to PTJD to take on his travels with him.

Ah, reminds me of Ms.PTJD for years had to bring along a plastic baby from a King Cake her girlfriend wanted her to take pictures of all over the world!
Finally broke her of that habit!

What's a king cake?

Some cake they make in NOLA, a little plastic baby is baked in it!

Congrats on your new Vapor! I need to look around again, just to make my vaping more interesting.

Well headed back to Lyon in the morning, last 2 hours of work and then to Paris for 3 days of shopping for Ms.PTJD!!!!

Woohoo. I got the prodigy V1 I bought from the classifieds. It is in really good condition and came with the 801 and 901 end caps. I put on an 801 atty with some 30mg tobacco menthol. Very nice. Happy dance for me.
Hitt.....Thats great!!!:D Make sure you use some AW batts(3.7v)with it.....Really makes a difference in performance!!

Cheers!

I'll have to order some Wiz. I have 3.7 v batts but not AW. I thought you were supposed to use 3v tenergy with it for 5v operation?

Me too Hitt.......Until jay at GLV told me differently.....The resister regulates the voltage to just over 5v. It really makes for a better vape and much longer use before switching out the batts! I use them in both the GLV and Prodigy now!.......Give them a try when you get a chance!

I will look for a good price on them tomorrow. I figured the resistor would only cause a certain drop in voltage and with the higher voltage batts that it would result in a higher voltage to the atty. I could see it working if you were using a voltage regulator but don't see how the resistor would drop it below 6v.

Hitt.....I'm just taking an un-educated guess there! I don't know the first thing about voltage. Check Ikenvape for those AW's....I think he sells them for less than most others!

Well Wiz, a resistor has a fixed value and if you put in higher voltage batteries then you should get higher voltage out to the atomizer. Now if two three volt batteries get the voltage dropped to five volts then I would think that two 3.7v batteries would have a voltage to the atty at a little over six volts. I could be thinking about that wrong but don't think so. I will check Ikenvape's site to see what his price is. I could use them for my screwdriver also.

Hitt.....All I know is that they seem to provice more power and I can generally go a whole day before switching them out.....For me thats a plus..LOL!

Wiz, I took a look at those AW batteries. Those are about twice the price of the ultrafire or tenergy batteries. Are they really worth it? Are you using the 550mah or 750mah ones? I have been using an 801 on the prodigy for the last couple days and can see why you like it. However, I am starting to miss the TH I get from the 510 at HV. I may have to do a switch over today.
