Had to poke my little green nose in here....Wiz reminded me that I'm still the 'unofficial' wicked one o this place.

Those pics are amazing - I love the archetecture 'round that part of the globe - especially in that arch.

It was just a busy day today Wiz. The youngest had her first violin lesson today and she is very excited about learning to play. Lots of errands to run too. I would have much rather been inside posting. It was miserable outside today. I think I lost five pounds of water weight mowing tonight. You'll be glad to know that I put the macuba to good use today. Had a bad craving I couldn't shake earlier and that did the trick. Thanks again Wiz.

Hey Hitt!!......Glad the macuba is working for you! I lost alot mowing today also....Thought if I started at 10am it would be cooler......Not a chance! Had my daughters 6th B-day party today for her girlfriends.....The screaming was unbearable!! Had to retreat into the basement...it was cooler down there anyway!!

Mornin' boys.

I have been moved to the 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. shift at the factory, and we're putting up a pole barn. With the ungodly downpours we had, there were a lot of roads to clear, downed trees, and basements to pump out as well. I'm getting too old for this. lol

I have to go to a wedding in Hammondsport today so I will be gone for about 5 hours.

Hello firechick. Sounds like you're pretty busy. I hate water in basements. I am still waiting for a contractor to fix our water damage.

No, PTJD it's been awful here too. It was almost 100 today and it has been in the 90's for days with no sign of letting up. It seems worse than it is with the really high humidity we have had along with the heat.

We actually had a slight break in the heat today - it wasn't nearly as muggy, and maybe the highs in the 80's. Overcast all day, though, so not much sun, but the relief from the heat was WELCOMED!
