Hey Green (and everyone else)

As Wildsky mentioned ... We get LOTS of people that get add things to carts. I can actually view live/abandoned carts and it happens a LOT. The only way to keep things true is for the first person to pay for the item getting it.

The example I give is this. If we have 20 bottles of True Menthol in stock (in 36mg) but 50 people have it in their cart, we don't have the stock to cover them all. Thus, those additional 30 backorder. If we honestly allowed backorders, we would be backordered through early next year.

Its the system we live and die with unfortunately. :(

how many companys small or big respond so fast ?
especially after a busy move and busy night of sales..
im sure alot of suppliers would be reading to see how things went after a big night of sales, but how many would personally try to respond to any problems or complaints about the system.
not many,,

Yeah, I knew about this on the last rush order a few weeks ago.

I ordered soooooooo fast I didn't even notice that the price was raised on the CashJuice until I already paid.

Yup ... Pricing indeed went up. The good news is, it only went up in 1 area, and that's juice. Its also the most demanded part of the PS Lineup. I felt a $.99 - $2.99 raise in price is justified. It allows us to take on more staff to help meet the needs of everyone. It also just accounts for what may or may not happen on each and every shipment of liquid.

Yeah I guess so, I'm just bumed. I did get some stuff but not really what I wanted.

Did you see my problem with my mailing address? I ended up leaving out my street name. Is that a problem or can you get that off of my pay pal?

Green, what's your order #. I can edit it for you.

I'm actually glad to hear this. It means (should mean) that if your order goes through properly, then you're all good. No email next day saying sorry ...

hey fjames ...

That's the beauty of our 100% live inventory. This means, if you were able to place an order, it WILL ship. 99% of orders are correct. The ones that aren't, is if we over account for a certain juice (which does happen but not as frequently as we hold juice back for instances like these) as well as a certain color LED being labeled one thing and its essentially, something else, also throwing off inventory. :)

I noticed the price, but I figured it due to supply vs demand. In this case demand is far greater than supply. Why shouldn't Steve capitalize on it? His prices still seem reasonable to me.

Hah.... he responded faster than I did!

LOL...

I should make a thread on it. Sorry about that guys. I tried to explain the price increase on my last post a few above. Its been our only price increase ever. We aren't necessarily trying to capitalize, we are just starting to take on more staff and put investments in to certain things (yet to be discussed) so expenses are rising quickly. I see no further price increases in the very near future, and being that was the first one in roughly 8-9 months, hopefully that says something! :)

Hey Steve,

I didn't mean it as a complaint. I think that is fair for what you are doing. TOTALLY understand!!!

As long as the customer service never lacks then I'm down with paying more for the extra effort. I'm big on customer service and that will make or break you more than the price or the product.

BTW, I don't know if I got lucky or not but my 1st 901 from you is still working great and it's been over 2 months. I'm not a heavy smoker (1-2 ml a day), so is that why it is lasting longer than you mentioned?

I just hope that you never lose that customer service side once you get so big. You always notice this with most companies that get way huge.

That's just not right Steve.
I did add juice to my shopping basket for a certain price and when I checked out it was 3 bucks more than when I clicked on it 2 minutes earlier.
Imagine I go to the supermarket and buy a loaf of bread, or what ever, and the price is $ 1.00, but when I go to the checkout counter they charge me $ 1.30.

That just stinks.

What a disapointment.
Shame on you.

12011 and 12121

I went back and got the last two bottles of 36mg 10ml bottles with the 2nd order. I lost the big ones so I managed to get the small 36mg.

Also I never received this order that I placed on the 4th.
11490

The street name is "Joel RD" and the email is "earthlink" the rest looks correct. Sorry for the confusion.

Hey Paul,

Thanks for bringing your email to light. Investigating now and will get back to you within a few minutes.

-Steve

Thanks Steve! you can always give me a ring. Hell its probably not long distance now.

edit: BTW I'm not sure but since I left that "r" out of earthlink I might have started a new account.

Yep, In the panic I left the street name off and the "r" out of earthlink on my email addy and started a new account. I was able to edit the account and put in my street name but when editing my email it says there is already an account. Also I'm not sure if editing my account now will change the address on this order.

I just want to make sure the package has my street name on my order. (Joel RD) well that and to see what happend to my order 11490

Have you considered modifying the order process to place items on "hold" while the customer continues to shop? I can't see a 10 minute hold hurting anyone or the inventory count. Lots of sites do just that and it seems to be very successful.

I planned to purchase 3 50ml bottles but ended up with only one 30ml bottle because they kept getting yanked by someone else though I placed them in my cart first. Fair or not, it's frustrating no matter how you look at it.

With a product hold system in place you still wouldn't end up with backorders. If a customer didn't check out within 10 minutes of cart activity the product would go back into the stock count.

Just a suggestion to relieve some customer frustration. My point is: give your customers a little time to shop ;) As it is, we'd have to check out after choosing every item to avoid losing an item. We'd be racking up some hefty shipping charges on those individual orders.
