This thread has just blown my freakin' mind. I am ordering two of these, ASAP. Unless someone has a damn good reason NOT to...

Thanks so much for all the great information, Charger!

Nice to hear your going to give it a go butch. The more folks that try this the more information and possible tips we can gather.

When your choosing the liquid to run in this device be sure to compare the consistency/viscosity (how thick it is) against the liquid shipped with it. You would like your e-juice to be similar (fairly thin close to that of water). The design of the glass delivery tube to the atomizer does not leave a lot of room for the liquid to get past the lead wire of the atomizer. Thick liquid tends to move slowly through the tube and harden inside blocking flow to the atomizer.

You can easily compare the viscosity of your e-juice against the liquid shipped with the device using a clean mirror or piece of glass. Place 1 drop of each liquid next to each other while the mirror is on a flat surface. Slowly lift the mirror and watch the drops flow down the mirror. The flow should be similar.

I now have 6 more of these for R&D purposes. 1st thing I do is cut the wires to the LED and remove it (you can lift each support wire out of it's holder with a pair of needle nose pliers, then snip the wires off using regular scissors) be careful not to cut or hit the atomizer lead wire. That thing will blind you with how bright it is (emergency flashlight). LOL

I've been just movig the LED down inside next to the switch so it lights up the base, You don't really need it as you can see vapor begin when the coil heats up.

One thing I have noticed is the battery connections are not great. If the coil does not seem to heat, open the battery compartment and re-seat the batteries/spin them a bit to get a good connection.

Has anyone tried VG in this pig? I really like what I've read/seen about performance...just the look and size that I'm trying to wrap my head around :D

I only use VG, and as Charger says, as long as the viscosity of the VG matches that of the fluid it came with, it runs great! What I do is take my VG juice and put distilled water in with a dropper until it looks similar to the 'super fluid'.
Also, noticed that the switch wires can become overheated(possibly?), and after about 1/2 hr. of continuous use, the swich will no longer operate; but if I leave it alone for about 15min. it will be fine again.....

Looked around in several stores and it's not something readily available Walmart, Kmart, Target, Kohls, Sears. You name it I've looked.
Best price is POW science. Free shipping over $75.

You must have a poor connection somewhere SV. I've checked temps of the components and nothing gets hot. This is a current regulated device. At startup you will see a 2 amp surge and then it settles in to 1 amp output regardless of battery voltage. If your single battery voltage drops below 1 Volt the unit will not heat the atomizer or light the light. It is possible you hit that 1 volt point and it takes a while for you battery voltage to recover above 1 volt.

I can't believe how many of these things you have bought!
Must be the water up there in Bloomfield. I got mine over a week ago and haven't paid it much attention. LOL I had also bought the 5 Volt ac adapter/USB delivered for under 5.00 that was about to be sold out. Love it. Hope you got one!

That's a shame not giving it much attention :(. It is pretty much a hobby for me in these winter months as there's not much to do outside.

I've done a few calculations to some what... justify playing with this device.
I use KR8 mostly and that is for convenience. After calculating the $ amount in savings over a week and also the convenience of the wizard you can see how the choice becomes obvious. Granted I did not include re-filling the KR8 carts but even then there is still savings to be had using this device.

4ea (KR8 carts)/day = 28(carts/week) @ $1.50/cart = $42/week
DIY E-juice @24mg(nic)/ml = $0.35/ml x 5ml/day x 7 = $12.25/week

That's about $30 a week in my pocket. You could buy 1 of these devices a week and still save some $.

As I said earlier, I did not count refilling the KR8. It takes me a couple minutes each to fill the KR8 so, for a days worth of refilling would be maybe 10 minutes. It takes me less than 30 seconds to fill the wizard for 1 days worth of vaping.......

Didn't see where anyone asked so I will.

Anyone try vaping alcohol with this?
(Hey, I'm a drunk lol)

Actually no, not tried vaping it.... but after every 4 or 5 refills I'll run 2ml of 80 proof vodka through to give it a good cleaning. It actually does produce vapor believe it or not. The atomizer temperature stays below that of what is required for ignition of the alcohol. This is why I like the current control scheme they use. The atomizer retains a pretty constant temperature from he 1st vape to the last. The variable is the amount of fluid controlled by the user to the heating coil. This is why I say there is a learning curve. You tend to become familiar with the correct sound and adjust pressure based on the sound of atomization. Takes some getting use to but practice makes perfect.

I love this device! It is astonishingly convenient.
Also, feels like I'm getting more nic on the same amount of fluid that I would use in other PVs. I don't know for sure, but this possibly has something to do with the atty kept at a constant temp.?
I have been running distilled water through mine periodically to clean it. Thin steam comes out when I do this. Even this is fun to watch. I feel like I have a teenage crush....somebody help me.....LOL!
