He's a guy that sells his classes and books on how to get out of debt, then as the first step tells them to stop buying anything nonessential. Which with a bit of common sense and willpower, his class would have been one of those nonessential items.

OK I'm making it sound simplistic, he really does have good stuff to say about getting out of debt, paying cash for everything, etc, it just bugs me when he tells people "You gotta quit spending money, pay for my class so I can show you how"

I didn't pay for the classes, but I did for the book 10 years ago and it was worth it. Because I didn't have much common sense. Also, he had a show on TV and he has the radio program, both are free.

Actually he has helped lots of people. Think he still has a Radio show, and what I heard on the show was very good solid advice. If he left it at his books and his show I wouldn't have an issue with him. It's the fact he sells his classes mostly to people who can't afford them,when they could already get all the information for free or from his books that bothers me.
