Are those heat sinks OK to use with TC? Don't mess up the resistance reading?
Good question, never used Heat Sinks yet with TC. I'm sure quality is going to factor in on it.
@TrollDragon Yep, its me again. Whats your take on this?? :D

Heat sinks and TC? Dunno never tried them with TC.

As long as they are making good connection should not be a problem.
In theory.
They will add a bit of resistance but it is the varying resistance When heated that TC works off of. And the resistance of the heat sink should not vary.

Majority of Heat Sinks that are easily found though are POS with terrible posts iv heard.. "Just for Looks" I guess...

I think someone told me these should be better models, even though they are cheap I think I was told these are good ones.
What do you think? Especially with the adjustable pin model??

I got some like the ones in your second link, but 25mm, and I have one on my RX200 under the Boreas. It's very nice, good quality, smooth threading, definite stop when it's screwed in... I can't complain at all. I actually haven't had the heat sink off the mod since I put it on there. I take the tank off to fill it or re-wick/coil it and then put it back, and it's flawless, PLUS it keeps the top of the mod from getting hot if I happen to be chain vaping. And it's pretty. ;)

Well, I'm sure I'll take some flak for this, but I am not a fan of my new HCigar VT75. It just doesn't seem to be as good as my SMY SDNA75. Dunno, gonna have to play with it, but same TC settings, both mods running updated firmware, and it's a weak vape, keeps going into temp protect, put the same tank on the SMY and it's fine. Can't understand why they would be different, same board same settings, but something is different. Gonna have to play but right now I much prefer the cheaper SMY.

Never had an Hcigar regulated mod but never was really impressed from the reviews and such.
Personally though I am not impressed with the DNA75 with a max output of 6 volts....
The DNA 60 now does interest me.

difference in your 2 mods could be wire size used in the mod?

kad check the top of the 510 on the VT. It has a hybrid type plate on it. Maybe it's not down all the way and it effecting the connection.

Well, I'll be a ...... on candle! That could certainly be the problem! :w00t:
Manufacturers never test each board individually so just put in a Resistance around the same number as the rest..
My Lavabox DNA 200 came with it set at .007, I bought the Copper Plug tool and found it to be at .003 ..
