I'm not gonna go through and reply to all these posts cause there's too many but there are many possibilities in them that could be causing it ...or once again it could be coincidence that I got the cuts. But it doesn't sound far fetched that the vaping dries my mouth out often and I don't always re-wet it with a drink..and maybe that dryness is doing something. That might be it.

And to whoever said it sounds really serious, it's not a big deal..the cuts heal slowly and there's only like 2 or 3 small ones...they just hurt a real lot when I ingest certain drinks or use my Cinnamon toothpaste! Owwww that's the fricken worst!

Cuts take longer to heal if tissue is wet and in movement so to speak. I have heard of some gel that creates water resistant surface and is used in place of bandadges for small cuts.

But 3 things to minimize exposure of vapor in mouth come to mind:
-stick the cig little further into your mouth and/or swap sides from time to time
-exhale through nose
-vape straight to lungs

I suppose you have had this problem for like years?

Oh and Dr. House would probably diagnose it as herpes.

I've always had issues with cancor sores and what not. Not as much anymore since I vaped, although it was pretty bad when I first started. I do have this minor cut thing in the back of my mouth near the molar that's been bothering me for almost a week, but I'm sure it's unrelated. Or maybe it is. Who knows. Get on it, health studies....

Changing the subject just a little, but the Cinnamon toothpaste and a lot of the gel type toothpastes do my mouth that way. Just a thought....

lol you guys keep making it sound like I'm dying...it's just like 2 cuts in my mouth that, whatever they were originally caused by, just seem to get more irritated and take longer to heal when I vape (aka fill my mouth and those cuts with nicotine-filled smoke, so no, I'm sure it's not impossible that it harms the open wounds! lol)

Hurry! Break up a piece of aspirin and put some of the small, small, pieces on your "cuts" overnight, they'll be gone in the morning. Thats my wisdom with those, they don't happen nearly as often as they used to, but using aspirin, they disappear overnight.

They must be an ulcer/canker sore, if it was a cut wouldn't it be bleeding?

Could be mouth ulcers, cant see how it could be cuts. Nicotine gum used to give me mouth ulcers, I suppose the nicotine in the vapour could do the same, although it doesn’t irritate me like gum used to.
Sometimes if I use carts I get a sore tongue, so I just drip now.
Go see your dentist mate.
Just4747 out of curiosity , are you using any non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. I took them for 7 years before I had a full knee replacement in January this year , and they will cause serious ulcers in the mouth, Believe me.

I just had this happen the other day, I think its the nicotine, especially if you accidentally get the juice in your mouth. I'm also sensitive to PG, so it could be this also. I stopped vaping for 1 day and it healed up nicely. Now I only use Ecopure no PG and try hard not to get juice in my mouth and drink water.
Hope this helps you, I know it hurts, been there!!

I don't know which brand of juice you are using but I have never had a problem with cuts. Cuts make me think of a citric based preservative.... possibly. Do you normally get cuts in your mouth from lemon juice or other citrus fruits/drinks?

won't go away from e-smoking. Even cigarettes didn't usually keep cuts in my mouth like this. Every day I e-smoke keeps the cuts pretty much from healing or it makes them worse. There's one between my lip and gums and one under my tongue that hurts like hell when I move my mouth, drink, eat, touch it...anything! It's horrible! I have stuff that I put on them to numb them for a while but it doesn't help them heal and sometimes doesn't even work.
Any suggestions besides not vaping? It's so very annoying..
