I'm not sure, and I'm no expert on computer or electronics, but my suspicion is that when the battery was charged and left for several hours still plugged into the computer, it somehow started discharging into the computer, frying out the CPU. Either way, I'll never use the computer again as a charging station just in case, in other words, o;; mrbrt idr yjr vp,[iyrt shsom sd s vkjstomh dyyopm

I dont worry I use someone elses computer............................I kid I kid, now that I have some new gear I have no choice but to use wall chargers.

Things I was wrong about:

1. Mods are outrageous looking and unnecessary - I have 3 and don't get nearly as much satisfaction from eGo style batteries anymore. Never go anywhere (even the bathroom) without a mod in hand (or pocket).

2. Tobacco flavors = good, fruity = bad - Now I exclusively vape fruits (tangerine, apple, watermelon, grape, etc).

3. Box style mods are ugly - I LOVE my VTR and want a REO baaaadly (still don't like the MVP aesthetically).

4. When I started vaping, I had only seen eGos and cigalikes. Naturally, I thought eGos were the top tier of vaping hardware - Not the case to say the least.

LOL I'm wrong a lot! I wouldn't give up analogs cause of stress. I'm on my third day without one. Wife would never quit. She got up this morning and said the 3 analogs that we have left are the last she's smoking. Can't do the taste anymore. Would not like the fruit flavors. Guess what...I like them. And so it goes. Wonder whats next??

I never thought I'd have a box mod-used to think they "looked weird"-I have 2 mvp 2's, never thought I'd be capable of rebuilding and I can, and I like my results more than stock actually-just thought it was always "above my abilities"-it's not, it's pretty easy for me-learning more about vaping every day-current thoughts are," I will never be able to figure out a rba, that is definitely above my knowledge and abilities/more complex than rebuilding a protank coil", and "I will never spend more than $100 for a set up"-who knows if i'll ever purchase a provari or reo since I swing back and forth on them, or do more rebuilding stuff in future-only time will tell. I do feel I'm too dumb to figure out diy juice too.

Things I was wrong about:

1. That I would smoke forever and never be able to quit (after 30+ years was able to).
2. That e-cigs wouldn't give me the same (or better) satisfaction than smoking (it's MUCH better).
3. That I would never vape anything other than tobacco-flavored (vaping fruits, desserts, drinks and bakery flavors is GREAT).
4. That I would never buy a box mod (love the MVP2).
5. That I would never spend the money on a Provari. Too expensive, have to recharge batteries and carry spares, it's probably hyped up much more than it really deserves........I LOVE it!!!!!
6. That I would never even consider rebuilding (haven't done it yet, but it's next on my list).
7. That a forum with a group of people sharing a common interest would become my source for learning valuable information (and having some laughs along the way). There are a lot of very helpful and patient people on here! I feel grateful for all of the help you have given me, so thank you!

I was completely wrong about steeping also until I forgot about a bottle of Honey Pearry I had in the cabinet just to find it and WOW!

Wish I had all the money back I spent on things that didn't work: cartos, carto tanks, Blu cigs, really horrible juices, chargers, batteries for mods I've since discarded, atomizers.

3. Don't charge your battery off your computer. It was probably my first or second day here that someone warned me not to charge the battery in the USB port off my computer. Yeah yeah, I knew it all. Well this weekend I forgot to unplug it overnight. I can't say with 100% that the battery was the cause, only with, maybe 80% certainty, but nonetheless my computer and my modum fried and had to buy both new.

Thats just technically impossible. Computer usb ports have by standard a closed capacitance feed circuit and are incapable of causing any harm to the computer or even themselves just by rapid discharge or a short. I think its another case of computer repaid shop overfixing things on purpose to aid their sales.

As for what I was wrong about - I'm never wrong about anything, I'm a man!

1. There ain't no way I'm paying $100 for a darn e-cig. Yeah, right, tell that to my Russian 91 on the SVD.
2. My home brew will taste better than the store bought. I can sing too, I just don't think I should quit my day job though.
3. I know better than those"experts". Why would you need to torch silica wick before using it? Well, you don't. It doesn't work worth a darn, but you don't HAVE to.
4. There is only one vaping web site worth a darn. I don't know but I think the Devil made me think that.
I will continue to ignore instructions (at least for the first 10 tries), burn stuff up (hopefully not the expensive stuff) and do what I know is right, regardless of the evidence. Admit defeat, NEVER!

I thought I needed to decrease my nicotine, so I gave it my best try and got down to 10 mg from 18. Turns out, I really needed to increase it from 18 mg, so I am now at 24 mg and back to myself again - best I've felt in a long long time. No longer chain vaping, and it's not the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning.

I have no reason to think that getting off nicotine or even going below a certain level, is going to benefit me.
