how is everyone getting the chard residue off the coils? I vape alot of Bobas and cinnamon etc and a PGA soak for no matter how long doesn't seem to help

The trick is to not let it build up in the first place. I vodka soak every couple days for 10 min and steam clean them every 8-10 days.

But I have a lot of REOs going so it probably works out to vodka soaking twice a day if I were actually vaping just one mod. :D

A clean atty is the single best way to improve the vaping experience. I haven't had a 357 on for the last few days.
Been rocking my new Cisco bridgless 306 attys on every mod at the moment. They are very good.
If they last for a few months they will be every bit as good as the HH-357 IMHO for much less cash.

Still gotta give the HH-357 big props for making me realize once and for all that atomizers can work fantastic for me.

I'm really struggling with any kind of carto anymore. All I taste is filler no matter what I do.
Cartos are still convenient and give great TH but the chage of flavor over a good atty is killing the experience.

Hanna wrote me back again- he said it wasn't my vaping style at all but the juice I use- evidently the 100% VG and rY4 are to blame for the "carbon" build-up. Rob (the master) says he gets 3-4 weeks out of his- he vapes Havana Gold- also 100% VG... I don't know...Anyway, I kindly told Hanna I wasn't gonna have him rebuild my HH for $10...guess I'll stay with the cheapies for now and wait for the "rebuildable" mentioned a few posts up in this thread!

Btw, Hanna also mentioned that he's been getting the Aero 510 atty's for the thicker juices he uses- he can't keep his HH357 from dying w/ the thick juices either, apparently. These are also sold by Avid and are $12 a pop (pun not intended) but I bought 2 of them tonight- we'll see how they work. He said that by design they have a lot of the same features of his designed 357.

I just got 10 Joye LR 306s a few days ago. ITs great. No problems with feeding, lots of vapor and throat hit. Real easy to use and $4.50 per atty. I've used the Cisco 306 LRs, Ressurectors 1.7s cartos, Boge 2.0 cartos, HH 357s and Ikenvape LR 510, joye sr 510. These Joye LR 306s are currently my favs. O especially like these with a clear drip tip.

Well, right after getting a couple of Areo's from Avid, I was over at Liberty-Flights and noticed they sell a 5 pack of unbridged 1.7ohm 510 attys for $19.99 w/ their 20% discount, so I picked up a pack...we'll see how that goes. I'm good on attys for awhile, I hope. Anyway, I know everyone likes 306's...I just never got them to work very well for me. When my 510's are working, I really do like them a lot- just have to find my sweet spot again!

Btw, their brand- and they call them drip-o-mizers...we'll see

Anyone here using COV's butterscotch with Reo and .357? I love the butterscotch, i love my reo and i love the 357, but together they are just not co-operating. The first few draws are always great, but the the draw becomes super stiff and it makes a whistling sound. The vapor is non existant at this point and the flavor is diminished. I'm very careful not to flood my atty and i've cleaned my atty almost daily, but what ever i do i can't seem to get this damn combo to work. Any suggestions?

I've not tried that juice but to me what you describe sounds symptomatic of atty flooding. You may want to try adjusting your squonk technique. I've found that a visual squonk is easier for me to master with the 357 than the blind version. I squonk till I just see a hint of moisture appear around the base, then do a hard quick dry pull. After that I'm usually good for about 3 or 4 hits.

The thing is that I don't have any trouble with other juices, I mainly Rawr vapor's juices. Initially i thought that i was flooding the atty with the butterscotch, but even though the drag gets tight, i still might get a dry hit. Doesn't sound like it's flooding? Has anyone tried the custom 357's, that are made for 100% VG?

I am now using my 2nd .357. This one has been used about 2 weeks. It is not tight, flavor and vapor are good. I have not cleaned it either.
I use 100% VG juice. Running a caramel, coconut, tobacco. If I could suggest anything I would say give it more juice, and keep a well charged battery in your REO. These seem to use a lot of juice!

I have a 901 and a 510 357 custom 100% vg you can tell the diference they hold more juice and wick vg better if you run 100% vg they are worth the extra $3 imo

Just pulled my failed 357 apart to take a peek inside. The wire leading to the coil had burned through. That's a very, very fine gauge of wire! The coil was hidden inside a ball of carbon crud after just 2 weeks. I did the vodka rinse about every other day but it obviously wasn't keeping the coil clean. Vaping that crud was throwing off the flavor a bit kinda like smoking the resin that builds up in the bottom of a pipe...uh...or so I've heard. Tripp is watching. :D

These things look like they'd be pretty simple to build if you could get the parts.

I haven't used a HH 357 for a while now. One is dead and the two others have creeped down in resistance to 1.0 - 1.2 ohms and they just burn too hot now.

I'm not complaining because I used these attys for months and months. I'll reorder, but I'm waiting to see this atty tank Hanna and Cisco have come up with. If they don't want a mint for one, I might have to try it out.

My Grand is fitted with an IKV 1.8Ω 901 and a needle stealth adapter. It's a durn fine vape.

Ruh roh...I swear I just heard about that resin thingy! Honest! Please don't use the wizard powder on me.

:)

I'm not wearing a uniform right now and I don't care what adults in the Virgin Islands do in the privacy of their own homes, provided they're not causing harm to anyone besides themselves.

:D

Got my Aero's attys- also my Non-bridged 510 LR (1.8ohm) attys from Liberty-Flights. Trying them out now- both on Reo Mini's and so far I like the cheaper ones from LF... (these are for thicker juices like 100% VG that kills the 357's).

 I must be blind but I didn't see anywhere on the Liberty-Flights site for Non-bridged 510 LR or Aero's attys. You ment Avid for these right?
