Since switching to 100% VG, i've begun syringe filling. Using a 20g needle was a pain to draw the juice into the syringe through the needle, but a solution was found after someone mentioned they just remove the needle and draw it directly into the syringe. That works great.

I pretty much vape cafe mocha all the time now. Used to be 555, but i've gotten tired of that now.

Anyway, i picked up some 18g needles and found they're perfect. The juice draws into the syringe through the needle without issue and they're not so big that they are hard to push into the carto without screwing up the filler material.

So i'd advise anyone wanting a needle for VG juice to get an 18g needle with the bevelled point (not blunt).

Congrats 6String;) 16 is even easier, but harder on the carto....I think a few that use 100% pg use the larger needle to draw into the syringe and then switch to a smaller needle to put into the carto. I mostly use 18, just have to be a little patient waiting for the juice to catchup to the plunger:laugh:

Edit: haha lujin....doggie and BIG kitty think alike:laugh:

18g for VG juice is fine i think. If you use a smaller syringe (1ml) then there's no wait on the juice being drawn up into the needle either i've found.
With the 20g the only trouble was drawing juice up. Pushing it out was fine, but slow (although still faster than dripping by a long shot). Now i just use the 20g for my wife's PG refills and i use my 18g for my VG refills. Works just fine :)

Only reason i got the 18's was they were given to me for free.

I made the mistake of getting a 20 guage also. I have a hard time getting to juice in the syringe too. I might try to get an 18 but i hate paying shipping for that one single item. Maybe next time I'm on Amazon for something will see if I can get one.

Take the needle off and draw the juice into the syringe that way. It worked fine for me.
Then put the needle back on to push it into the carto.
I forget who mentioned doing this originally, but it is a great method and easy

Do you have a farm and fleet or Tractor Supply anywhere near you? You can find needles and syringes there. Another option is to check with a vet or even some pharmacy's will sell them to you.

Jbank...send me a pm with your address...I'll hook you up. There is a DB Supply about 10 minutes from my house, I think the needles are .59 and the 3ml Syringes are .95. I would suggest you get 2 needles and 4 3cc Syringes. The needles last forever, but Syringes will wear out after a 2 months of refilling.
