Think the JOYE306A is wimpy? (Also, PS True Menthol rocks!)

So today, I was sitting around bored and decided to put together some clips of me vaping my

Super-Mini JOYE306A from Electronic Cigarettes, e-Cigarettes, e-Cigs, DSE 901, Safe Cigarette, Vapor Guys LLC

and some

True Menthol from PureSmoker.com - Your #1 Source For PV's, Parts, & Accessories!

I was going to do a whole review thing with numbers, scores etc but decided to just go with a visual demonstration instead. I enjoy the abstract... Why not let the performance speak for itself?

Please don't laugh! :grr: (Also be sure to hit the HQ button)

Nice work Bizzy. Im digging the Sitar jams. The 306a is a fogger for sure.

I just posted my review of the 306a a few days ago. Check it out if you'd like. Cheers :)

Quick question about your atomizers... the two that came with the kit were unmarked, however the two extra that I ordered came with tiny numbers printed on the inner ring where the battery meets the atomizer "0209" on both of them... do you think that's production date?

The wicking for the two marked ones, isn't as "neat" as the ones that came with the kit. Granted all my atomizers vape (equally, I might add) like little fog machines but I was just wondering about differences.

I've been using just one atomizer constantly though and I just can't kill it! I went through 2 batteries and tried to get it as hot as I could and it wouldn't die. I need another charger and another set of batteries though, hehe. I seem to put lots of strain on my batteries. I get about 100 or so 2 second drags off of both my batteries and like you posted in your review, vaping performance seems pretty consistent right up until the battery blinks to be charged.

I can't imagine this having a longer cutoff than 2 seconds... it'd probably be too hot. My atomizers get pretty warm and sometimes I can hear them sizzle.

Hey bizzyb0t,
No laff'n, but I did smirk.
Dug the tune, the cut screens, the reverse vape and the fact I was breaking in my JOYE306A while watching!

Thanks :)

I wasn't in a mood to do a serious review... but I had a bunch of clips of me just vaping away. Really, this thing puts out a lot of vapor and watching other video reviews of other e-cigs and I'd say that the JOYE306A is in the upper third in performance (vapor, throat hit), only topped by USB passthrough penstyles and the SD perhaps.

There were a couple of times I coughed because the vape was so strong. you can actually seem me wincing in the video because I couldn't see through the clouds, lol. This thing puts out as much "smoke" as my Newports used to.

I'm really digging this e-cig and the fact that it's fully broken in and working so well. I've been working one of my atomizers really hard just to see what the breaking point is-- so far it's pumping out clouds like a champ. Perhaps next week I'll do a real review and vocalize some of my thoughts about it.

The two that originally came with my kit were also not imprinted. They both work well, but I have been consistently using only one. I tested the other for 5 days of heavy use to make sure it worked as it should. The other has been going strong for two weeks plus, and on my mods. I created a passthrough which accepts these atomizers.

I have however different atomizers and different models all together, that were also made by JOYE. Some of these I have gotten after the 306a, or around the same time. Those newer ones have all had the same "0209". I do believe you are correct. I believe it is their month production run/year production run. As the new were gotten in or around Feb, 09. I have spoken to others who have noticed the "0209" imprint recently as well.

I have noticed the wicking neatness issue a bit as well, not on all of my "0209" units though. That looks a bit tacky upon inspection, but still surprisingly works well.

Note on the JOYE model 0209 imprinting, It is on newer batch batteries as well as atomizers.

I would depict the old batch 510 models to be close to what you say, about the cut-off, if longer. It was a great vape (sometimes), but literally hand melting-ly hot. I have gotten my 306a quite hot a few times though. This was under fairly heavy vaping determining puff counts on batteries and carts. I can definitely hear mine sizzle a bit on a regular basis.

Sorry, that was a not so quick answer to a quick question. :)

As for the wicking on the "0209" atomizers... even though it's not as neat, it works well. From cleaned and dried, then dripped, it wicks pretty quick. I've been using one from my kit almost all the time and I've pretty much vaped it until it was dry with no adverse effect (plz folks, don't try this at home). I think that overall the "0209" atomizers work the same as the kit ones. Although I haven't nearly broken in those two as much as the one from the kit.

Have you noticed that as your battery is charging the charger LED flashes (from red) green about every 8 seconds? It does this with both my batteries but was curious about the charging logic the charger uses and was wondering what the LED flashes meant.

Great video bizzy! I really want a 306a, just a little over-spent at the moment. :)

Well, VaporGuys probably will have them in by April 3rd and they're sold at a great price! They come with 2 atomizers, and 2 batts, so they're a good deal right from the get go.

Hopefully, you'll soon find the funds to get yourself one soon! :D

I think the 306 series needs a section in the model specific review forum!! :)

Cool movie in every way except your ending credits were way too fast. I think you were trying to imitate a Hollywood movie where they credit 16 jillion people and you only have the ability to catch one name out of a thousand. Seriously, though, that Imovie and your editing skills made for a neat watch.

Thanks Paul.

I don't know how to "slow down" the credit speed. I'm pretty green when it comes to video editing :p

sweet video! you've got some editing skills there bro:D ive heard good things about vapor in the 306 , but i also heard they dont hold much liquid, and the batteries dont last long. Any views on this?

Thanks :)

Both of these thing you heard are somewhat true. But that is the nature of all "super-mini" style e-cigs. I'd say that from what I heard, I was expecting batt life and cart capacity to be a little bit worse than what I'm experiencing.

It's a great "on the go" e-cig and because of that has some pitfalls larger models don't have.
