Sitting in the back yard, puffing on the GG.

Trying out the new phone and dialed this up. Freddie Merc has been gone 21 years now but this kid has his spirit.

Totally off topic, sorry, but this sounds great out back and i wanted to share. Kids are the future, here's to them

I've never seen a performer who could hold an audience like Freddie....he was a once in a lifetime talent. Seeing the kid in the vid it reminds me of Tommy Emmanuel who plays with him in his concerts. Back when Tommy was his age a great inspired him to pursue the guitar...Chet Atkins. He taught Knopler how to play...taught Emmanuel....and Emmanuel is teaching Jung. The chain continues

One of my favorites by Chet

That was a beutiful rendition by the young man - Loved it! Speaking in the one truly universal language, music!

As for Freddie, I still feel he was one of the best to ever perform. Thank goodness for digital media allowing his work to live on. I still enjoy it on a regular basis. :)

Nice find, so well done.
I'm on my phone so I can't tell, what make and model guitar is that, Lakewood? I've been thinking about getting another acoustic, after going through electrics, amps, and petals, I miss the honest tone of an acoustic when played.
Lakewood's are high end German acoustics. Very nice stuff. I played a Ramirez for 10 years but Lakewoods are in another realm
