Hello ECF members,

I am thinking about purchasing the Silver Bullet once they restock on the colors I want.

From what I understand it uses a 3.7 battery. I heard people using two batteries to get a 6 volt.

I heard many negative things about using the two batteries and even the Altsmoke website says they "do not recomend using stacked batteries".

I plan on using a LR 510 Atty as I have grown tired of the standard 510 atty with not enough throat hit on the lower nicotine levels and not enough vaper:vapor:.

If i use a LR 510 Atty on a 3.7 will it provide a good enough vape as compared to a 6 volt standard atty? I heard people saying using a LR on 6 volts is TOO MUCH and not advised.

I am also thinking about getting a Drip shield since the SB does not have a well to prevent over dripping. I heard the drags are difficult but are they truly that bad?

I have Omegas and a Silver Bullet from AltSmoke and you cannot go wrong with your choice. Would definitely not recommend LR on 6v as you will definitely burn the atty. LR on 3.7v would definitely equate to using a SR or HV atty on 6v. The DripShield also is a perfect choice to have on the device. You will need to get a 510 - 510 adapter to ensure that your atty sits above the O-Ring in the Dripshield.

Good choice and questions.

Happy Vaping!

Thanks, I was thinking of getting the silver bullet mainly due to the fact that my Mega Ego batteries are starting to fail. I only have a couple of Standard 510 Attys so going to somthing different isn't that big of a concern considering that I am going to have to start fresh anyways. I also like the fact that if you 3.7 volt battery dies, you just need to replace them instead of buying a brand new mega ego battery at around 20 bucks a pop and they last twice as long.

My only concern is threading. Some of my Ego batteries have threading problems, either from the charger or from constantly replacing the Atty for charging. How does the threading hold up on the SB for the battery connector and the 510 adapter?

The battery tube threads are HUGE and would be very difficult to mess up. The atty connector is standard, but having a sealed 510-510 connector on there will protect that too. If anything does happen, it would happen to the 510-510 connector that can be replaced for $1.50. ;)

Great advice using the 510 to 510 as a fail safe. I would have never thought of that.

THANKS ALOT!

Low resistance on a 3.7V mod is suppose to simulate 5V vaping. Unless you actually have tried 5V, then you know it doesn't compare. 5-6V is 5-6V no matter how you slice it. I use a standard resistance Boge carto on all 3 of my SB's at 6V with 5V not even comparing in performance. I don't know where you've heard all of the stuff you have about the SB but they're wrong IMO. I love mine and use them daily without issues.
