Remember the frustration of being outside on a winter like this, getting out of your car and not being able to find a match or lighter? I probably bought a dozen of them that way. Glad that is over!

i remember trying to scrape the metal part of the lighter across the concrete to try to get a spark to light, because the flint ran out. i am not proud of that moment.

It's quite difficult to vape on a tight budget unless you're making your own juice and staying with a couple of mods and tanks.

How did your gear magically disappear? Do you live alone? Was it stolen instead of lost?

I misplace stuff all the time, but I eventually find it. Hopefully you find your stuff buddy. If not maybe it's time to just quit altogether. The four months of vaping will make it easier to leave cigs behind.

I still get cravings after a year and a half. I almost smoked a cigarette a couple of weeks ago with all the stress and BS of the holidays and such. Didn't do it though, had it in my hand and everything lol. Good luck.

Hello Friend I gave up on vaping as well 2 other times. I quit smoking for a month and a half and I felt like .... all the time i had the urge to smoke constantly , and i never felt all that good. So a friend told me she only spends around 40 bucks a month on e juice sometimes less seeing how i was spending 280 bucks a month on ciggies I thought hell why dont we give this another try. I went to a local shop that sells juice picked up a bottle and returned home. i charged up my old gear and BAM!!! I remembered why I quit vaping instantly -the flavor sucked . So I went on a learning purchase run . i pieced up the MVP 2.0 the problem it only had ego threads i thought that was a 510 thread so I just wasted 65 bucks I was gona return it then i got in a car accident and it fell out into the road and got run over for a half hour at rush hour . I picked it up had a hissy fit and realized the marred and scraped up MVP2.0 was officially mine . I then bought a Pro tank mini for it this thing super sucks it spits , it foods, no matter what I did and the flavor sucked as well. So I said to myself I have to set this straight rewound the clock and ordered a MVP 20W which I have and its perfect for what I am going to be doing. I thought lets get into dripping so I bought a doge comition rda well i got it home and its only really made to blow massive clouds all over its made to win vape compitions. So i got some kanthal and wired it up taped off 90% of the air holes and gave it a try wow I love the flavor and the vapor s cool to the problem i was using an MVP 2.0 maxed out I needed like 3-6 more watts of power I was running a 2.1 ohm build on it and it took a while to vaporize fluid. so I got the MVP 20 W and it is awesome at 13 watts was perfect. Then I bought the Nautilus and now I am getting incredible flavor and over the top vapor I realized long ago I wanted to experience awesome flavor with this it was not only for replacing smoking but drinking as well the nicotine satisfies the urge to smoke , the flavor kills the urge to drink. Finally I can taste test e juices as if they were wine or spirits . i have a MAGMA on the way a true flavor chasers rda . The learning curve has been steep for me i have spent a lot of money my e juices are fair at best another thing to learn. Just think its a hobby sometimes you want to walk away sometimes its the best thing since sliced bread. the spending money part if you are spending to much and not getting what you are after maybe you need to reevaluate why you are buying things. Or maybe you need to have a sit down with the gear you already own and learn to love it more . Sure I wish t a 100 watt box mod regulated at 200 bucks but do I really need it no I never go above 15 watts do I want all the tanks out there sure at 20-50 bucks each it would be a waste of money to go for it. Learn to love what you have and maybe take a different route in this broad range hobbie like start making your own e juice, or start sampling e juices and ratting them keep a small not book on the topic, maybe you help newbies get tree gear right the first time, maybe you get into the laws and politics of the ecigg, hell get into sales and get a job at your local vape shop. There are many things you could do to revive your interest in the hobbie this might bring some new life into what you are buying . You want massive flavor and killer vapor I suggest the Aspire Nautilus its killer good and a 510 thread i am using it to sample educes now go and read about wine tasting and how they sample wines and pay attention to the words they use when describing what they taste . You can do the same with e juice a flavor called rise I have by ruthless is a peach, mango papiya, blend I not only get the 3 major players of flavor but I also when I concentrate I get green beans, 7 up, strawberry, honey as well as metal , cork and dirt all from one flavor . Try this I am sure you will see for yourself how cool tasting is I am a flavor chaser big time could care less about the clouds . this is just a suggestion it might bring you back to your center and you will wanna pick up the hobbie agian use what you have research future purchases and only buy e juice from now on. before making decisions on larger purchases well its all I got so give it a go try some of my suggestions you might see there is so much more to this hobbie Remi Love

I gave up on vaping 3 or 4 times. There was this excuse and that excuse, and blah, blah, blah, and this last time, when this excuse and that excuse came up as I was looking in to the next thing (which was good juice). I opted to finish what I had in stock and go from there. The money I had saved over a few weeks (3 to be exact) saved me $65.00 a week. That's $195.00. I could afford to lose a piece of equipment or 2 with those savings. But, then again, I was not buying the high end mods, and the only name brand items I had in stock was my tanks. Heck even my RDAs were clones. But they worked, and filling them with the flavor of the moment filled in the blanks for me. I could vape a tank all day and when the urge for an analog came up, I just picked up my RDA until it was gone.

Point is, if your set on quitting, best wishes.
If you look at what your saving and rebuild your equipment, best wishes.

Dude, I feel for ya! I just went through a spell like this. My tanks were constantly messing up, fixed that issue and then my VV fell on the floor and messed up the buttons so it was constantly changing settings on it's own. Dropped a tank and broke the glass... did the same again! I was a hairs breadth away from saying F-it, this is ridiculous! In the end I found a vamo v5 on sale for $29, got a new tank with a couple glass replacements for "just in case" droppage and moved past my frustration. The stress of all the crap seems amplified when you are getting off cigs too because your nerves are a bit frayed and you snap a bit easier. I know it's tough, I am on a pretty tight budget myself. If you want to try and work through the frustration go online and find cheap sales to get a setup going again, it is worth it in the end. Hang in there!

I figured out that I dont need to vape all day to be eased of the nicotine urges I get from smoking . I work for 4-6 hours then go vape at home or in the car. then I can work the rest of the day I am going 6-8 hours before I need to vape. at 12/18 mg level I realized I can go down to 6 mg now I'm ready to go low on the nicotine level. Like using the patch once you get to the lowest one 7 mg you can go all day. I am assuming that at 6 mg the nicotine levels will be so low I will not have the urge and to vape occasionally will ease the burden of the nicotine urge. From what i have seen and been told low mic levels are better for dripping you dont get blown away by the nicotine and the flavors are better the nicotine does not mess with the flavor as much. I noticed when I went from 18 mg to 12 mg with the same juice the flavor got better so there must be some truth to it . good luck Remi Love

just don't go back to cancer sticks, I got my kanger with nic in it for all day use until I get home, I keep my atlantis and my plume veil rda nice and safe and it doesn't leave the house, unless I'm going somewhere like I did this weekend to visit my folks with my girl and brought a bunch of my juices and was vaping and chilling there, but then packed it all up and took everything home in one piece. Whatever you do - don't go back to smokes, that's how most of us ended up here in the first place.

And don't feel bad, I've been spending money on this lately too, most of us have, but in the long run - it's still way cheaper than cigs.

All over the place
Folks ... It's been a long time since the OP (RealTreeRomeo) has posted to this thread he started ... I don't think he is coming back to read your suggestions.

True, but for every post there's a slew of posters lurking that feel the same way -- virtually in all situations.
