USA. State: Inebriated.
Backups on backups, man! My main vape is my OKL-T20 box mod with my Doge RDA, but:

I've got my IPV3 with Tobh clone, which hits almost identical to my Doge/OKL-T20.

I've got my MVP2 with Nautilus Mini, which is a great "indoor" vape (not cloudy), and gr8 battery life.

And if for some reason neither of those 2 backups are working, I've got my spare 18650 batteries and my old mech mods, which haven't been getting much use since I've switched to boxes, as well as a Caterpillar RDA, Igo-L (which I recently rebuilt/have been vaping on), and my Chimbus.

Think about it, when you smoked cigarettes you probably "thought ahead" about the next cigarette. "Oh, I only have 2 left in this pack, I better scoop another one so I don't end up without cigarettes tonight." I kind of have a similar mentality with vaping; "Oh, my IPV3's battery might not make it through the day, better take the MVP2 to work just in case!"

Good thing I don't have that attitude about women, or I would have given up in high school... Cigarettes disappear also, after they are smoked...
Lmao me too.

In all seriousness, this is why mine is permanently attached to my hand. I carry that damn thing with me everywhere.

exactly, get a couble of cheap mechs even if it is not your thing and a couple of rdas just for spares, that way you will have a great vape even if you loose your good stuff and if you loose your mechs, well $20 isn't that much...

my vape is awesome with a $13 mech and a $8 orchid v2 = $21 of bliss

Funny things happen when you change your habits especially when those habits can change your brain chemistry. Might you have been unwittingly treating something like ADHD with nicotine? With a smoking habit my ADHD is somewhere between "severe" and "we're not sure how you manage to finish the screening" and even though I'm on a daily medication (strattera) which hasn't changed, giving up cigarettes has had consequences. I usually live from post-it note to post-it note, and yesterday (I'm dead serious now) I lost the whole pad of post-its-- it's total chaos.

You may need to do some further investigation into how your brain works. Maybe it's not ADHD, maybe there's something else going on and the nic use was helping you compensate. If it is ADHD most people don't need medication but they do benefit from exercise and a little extra planning (also lanyards, reminders and organization skills help.)

I'm the opposite. If I try to organize, I go all ocd and over do it. Then I can never find anything. I work better with an organized mess. Certain things go in general areas and I can almost always find what I'm looking for. Lol

Whatever works for you is the right way for you, I would still file your technique as an organizational skill. You have your system. OP may have to fuss with things a bit before he finds his system.

Should have made my initial post a little clearer, and I forgot to mention my ZNA 50 and Lemo were the perfect set up for me. I wasn't searching for anything, which is why I traded my GI2. I just got supplies out of that. What I meant to say is my luck with vaping sucks. Either something breaks, or now magically comes up missing. So I'm tired of it. I'm not going to keep spending money with the same outcome every time.

you know what the definition of insanity is right?

so time to change it up..
if it's a you can't keep track of it..pick a spot and return it there every time.

and if it's being stolen, I can't abide a thief and I'd flush them out and get them out of your life, guard your gear in public, etc.

find a satisfying vape (have a back up or five *lol*) and make a goal for yourself to not change gear for six months or something (and to not lose it)

you'll do what you wish to do, and sorry for your run of mishaps (it's not bad luck ..we make our own luck by planning :) )

good luck.

Did you quit smoking if you lost a pack of cigarettes?

Do what you want, I will be over here vaping. :)

Man, it is insane to think of the amount of money I spent on stupid lighters after losing them during the years I smoked. Why was it so hard for me to keep up with those things? Dunno, but I know that when I stared vaping they all seemed to magically appear. Weird. Now I got all these lighters sitting in a junk drawer -- but I can't bring myself to toss them.

all my found lighters are in a drawer also. I only ever bring them out to light candles during night blackouts/power outages :p which surprisingly was around 10 times last year. I think i used up 1/10th of the 10ish lighters in there

Ed kept his Zippo to light his welding torch and I use those long bics to light candles, we gave all the smoking stuff to a friend, ashtrays, lighters, cases, rolling machine, tubes tobacco...there was no going back.

I think a ghostie is vaping my iStick setup, my juice seems to be disappearing really quickly:p

Remember the frustration of being outside on a winter like this, getting out of your car and not being able to find a match or lighter? I probably bought a dozen of them that way. Glad that is over!
