I've been desperately awaiting the increased energy everyone's always talking about too, but I haven't found it yet. I'm chasing a 21 month old toddler all day so I could really use it. I'm beat and I'm guessing that it could be due to the lack of MAOIs that was suggested above.

That toddler might be more to blame for your lack of extra energy than quiting analogs.
Solution: Sell the kid

Right? :D I was tired before quitting analogs, so I was hoping for that energy boost I keep hearing about but no deal.
My husband would kill me though if I sold her. She's pretty cute.

My wife says I snore less after giving up the stinkies. And my breath is not as toxic in the middle of the night either. :)

It took about two weeks for me to start feeling more energized. But that may have to do with the entire lifestyle change that vaping brought about. I take in at least 3 liters of water every day and cut out over 3 liters of soda. I am also careful with what I eat now. I used to think going to 7-11 for a couple hotdogs equated to lunch but now they taste like garbage and give me horrible heartburn. I have started packing a lunch for work and feel much better.

vaping has brought about an entire life change for me and I am better off for it.

I'm glad I found this thread! I, too, had increased energy about a week after I started vaping, and then it left :(

I've been vaping for about 3 months and I keep waiting for that energy boost to come back. I even had my blood tested at my yearly check up to make sure my iron and thyroid were okay. I'm glad to know this is normal.

How soon before going to bed should I stop vaping? I used to smoke a cigarette before I went to sleep and that never affected me at all.

I had to think back awhile, but there was a short period where I wanted a lot more sleep after I switched from tobacco to e-cigs; but I don't think it was for much more than a couple of weeks. I chalked it up to my body needing the recoup time to help get rid of all the toxins I'd taken in with over 35 years of smoking. Within a month I was feeling tons better, and since I switched my sinus problems have cleared up, no more smoker's cough and I've regained quite a bit of breathing capacity. I'm sure we'd all agree it's the best thing we ever did!
